Fingal Bay Beach House - Water Views and Seconds From the Beach

We loved our stay at Fingal Bay beach house. It was an easy stroll to the beach and local shops. The house was clean and well presented. We would definitely book it again for a family holiday.

Hi this house is in a great position and the host was great. Would consider staying againI only marked down because it wasn’t clear that 2 of the bedrooms were in a detached building. You had to get into the actual spiel when I looked back that I must not fully of read. This wasn’t an issue for us because our kids are older but could be if you had young children. Also there are a couple of maintenance issues that need attending and the garden area is very moist which brings mosquitoes so couldn’t really sit outside in the rear. But overall a great place and would recommend

Check in was seamless. Kitchen could use salt and pepper together with glad wrap. Unfortunately there were ants in the property, particularly the kitchen. Black mould found in the second bathroom prompted us to depart early. There was also a broken toilet seat in the studio. The lounge in the main house needs replacing as you sink very deeply when you sit on it…not comfortable at all. Overall we were disappointed.

We stayed for my mums 60th birthdayUnfortunately on the first night after purchasing 270 worth of food, we discovered that both the oven and bbq weren’t in working order. I tried to contact the host. However there was no response. The next morning I called the port Steven’s office and was told a man named Aaron which I assume is a maintenance worker was coming to have a look. However he never came. Due to poor weather, our small children and the fact that the fridge was full of food we were unable to go out for meals which made things particularly difficult. Great location. House is run down, dusty and poorly maintained and poorly managed.

Great location and proximity to beach. Loved the property layout for two families with the additional outdoor kitchen which was such a hit with our family. Unfortunately the premises had some serious concerns. Cleaning was a horror story which we observed on day one when my daughter’s dust allergy immediately kicked into overdrive. I have never experienced a situation quite like it. Beneath the beds was a thick layer of dust (not exaggerating) which points to the cleaning team and lack of inspection by the management team. I must acknowledge the responsiveness of the office who assisted with getting in first one cleaner who did half a job and then another cleaner who did a great job. The shower in the studio had a leak which flooded the floor and in the end we couldn’t use it. Once they get the cleaning and some repairs done the premises will offer a lovely stay. The office offered a late checkout as a result of the cleaning issues which we were unable to take advantage of due to prior arrangements.

Lovely house and location, a few steps from Fingal Bay beach, with shops for convenience around the corner.

We had two nights ot the property, great location.But Gas cylinder was empty: unable to cook breakfast on the one full day at property.Remote control batteries for TV flat: needed to be replacedIssues on Sunday and took some time to be remedied

The 2 bedroom unit did not lock which meant anything of value had to be stored elsewhere. One of the hair dryers was not working. It would be helpful to provide coffee pods for the coffee machine.

* 1BR House, 2BR Cabin, outdoor kitchen and eating area were exactly as advertised;* Bedrooms, bathrooms, linen were all clean and comfortable;* Kitchen cupboards and drawers - hard to stay on top of in this area, evidence of the small bush cockroaches visiting, easily dealt with by dumping everything we needed into dishwasher;* Perfect location with 50 metre walk to beach, and 50 metre walk to local cafe, small shops;* We would definitely stay again.

Place and location was nice Few suggestions- need more towels as only given 2 shower towels per room for 2 days - as couples in room will stay ( need 4 at least ) Lots of insects around - need pest control

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here with our adult daughter. Fantastic layout if the premises was better than any where else we had stayed. Well stocked kitchen and outdoor kitchen was a great touch. Very comfortable beds and view to the beach was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend this property and will look forward to a return visit. Thank you to our hosts for living up to all advertised expectations.

Loved the separate dwellings that allowed us some time away from the kids :-) The only negative was that the fry pans probably are past their use by date and need replacing (think I recall seeing that in another guest's comments before our stay). Will be back :-)

We had such a relaxing stay at this gorgeous place. Location amazing! Very comfortable space for my husband & I, our grown up kids & our dog! Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this well equipped clean property. Had difficulty accessing Lockbox for key but fortunately Margaret and Shane @ Stay Port Stephens were both available and very helpful.

Great location so close to the beach, would love to visit again in Summer
