The house was finished at the end of the 19th Century built. We have acquired this property in 2016 and lovingly restored. We have always taken care to preserve the charm and character. The technology had to be completely renewed.

Stayed Sep 17, 2023Lovely spacious well equipped house in easy walking distance of the pretty Rhine town of Boppard. The property is well located for exploring both the Rhine Valley and the Mosel Village. The Tourist Card scheme makes Boppard railway station extremely useful.

Stayed Jul 17, 2018My wife and I stayed in Boppard for three nights in July as part of a road trip around Germany. The location was ideal to explore the the areas of the Rhine and Moselle valleys. The house was beautifully presented, well equipped, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Herr Vogel obviously takes great pride in his house and he made us very welcome. It was also nice that he spoke very good English which helped us a lot. The house is situated only a short walk to the town centre and altstadt with its cafés, bars and restaurants, many along the banks of the Rhine itself. It is very convenient for taking one of the boat tours on the Rhine, which we did. The Alte Schmiede restaurant next to the church was our favourite restaurant with excellent steak and salad. We would highly recommend this accommodation to couples wanting to visit this area of Germany.
