Stayed Feb 9, 2026Great communication from the host. Within a short walk to downtown. Place was comfortable ( bedding and sofa) which are the things that I look for. I like to be comfortable when I'm sleeping and also when I'm just relaxing around the house. Very nicely stocked kitchen.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Excellent! Sunshine Lake Retreat is in a quiet neighborhood near to all the fun and festivities of Mount Dora. It is wonderfully clean and the beds are very comfortable! The host was responsive when we had questions.

Stayed Jan 17, 2025Rented this property for a writing retreat weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. The location is on a quiet street and just a quick drive to downtown. The rental is very clean and well stocked. The host provides great communication and responds quickly. Will definitely be looking to stay again.
