Stayed Aug 6, 2023A relaxing little house and pool to relax in. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and two floors, with a small living room. Best of all is the big garden and the pool. Walking distance to a village with amenities and Monteriggioni castle. Last but not least: very friendly and helpful owners. Thanks for the great stay!

Stayed Oct 5, 2019This was an interesting stay based on the age of the property. Roberto was very helpful. He made reservations for us, checked train schedules etc. If you require wifi this may not be a good choice for you as it was not readily available. Otherwise this historical property was good. It was not easy to find so be prepared to call for good directions.

Stayed Sep 10, 2019Raffaela and Roberto were wonderful hosts. The house was built in 1100!!!! It has a great history. The house has been modernized to make life very comfortable but yet retains its Romanesque character. We felt like we were living in a castle. It's in the heart of Tuscany. Close to sites and big grocery stores. Highly recommended. Thanks!!!

Stayed Jul 28, 2019Raffaela and Roberto are wonderful hosts. They were very helpful during our stay and helped us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed returning after a day of sightseeing to swim in the beautiful pool and sit in the gardens.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a lovely house with use of the owners pool. The owners were extremely helpful and the house was reasonably well equipped. We loved being able to walk to local restaurants (we particularly loved Cantinale) and to the train station which enabled us to visit Siena. We saw some amazing birds, eagles, beeeaters and goldfinches over and in the garden. The house is on the SP1 road and unfortunately this is quite busy, in particular in the mornings and evenings.

Stayed Oct 13, 2018For our first trip to the area this might have been the perfect place to stay for a couple nights. The house is managed by a wonderful couple that helped us at every turn with anything we needed. The property is rich in history, which the owners preserved through a tireless remodel. The grounds are meticulously maintained and if you're there at the right time of year you can enjoy a great pool. As we came late in season we did use the fireplace for additional warmth but don't worry, the wood pile is well stocked. We were 15 minute walk from Monteriggioni, 10 minutes to a couple really good restaurants and a grocery store. We were also a very short drive from Siena. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay a few nights in this area.
