Excellent property with a great location
Very peaceful and well maintained, relaxing for the whole family. Everyone in the family enjoyed the property. Communication with the owners was very good and they were quick to answer questions. Plenty of room for everyone, we had 12 people and were very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool. All in all its a beautiful place to stay, plenty of things to do in the area plus everything you might need is just down the road. Once you are on the property its hard to believe your not miles out in the country. I would recommend this to anyone for a relaxing stay.
This farmhouse was a great spot to stay for a week with my whole family. The property was amazing! The yard and gardens are beautiful and there was a nice heated pool, swing set for the kids, outside sitting area and a pond to go fishing in. The house was clean, decorated nicely and had everything we needed. It is super close to grocery stores and restaurants. Cathy and Stu were super responsive to all my questions and were very easy to get along with. If you are looking to for a house in Cincinnati I recommend staying here!
My family of 5 (1, 3, 6 year old, husband and me) stayed here for a week with my parents and it was perfect! The property is incredible, with a fully stocked pond, heated pool, small playground, outside sitting area, and multiple large yards, and the house met our needs perfectly. It was clean, had everything we needed, and super comfortable beds. Cathy and Stu have grandkids and had everything we needed or could have possibly wanted to keep our kids safe and entertained! Booster seat, bedside gate, books, toys, fishing poles, etc., all organized and clean. They were also super responsive to all of our questions. We would highly recommend this place and are considering another reunion in Cincinnati just so we can stay here again! We've stayed in a lot of homes over the years and this was by far one of the best choices ever. It's also super close to groceries, stores, etc., so it's a great mix of outdoor space and farm-like living while also being a 20 second drive to all things civilization.
This house and property are absolutely amazing! My family and I, along with my husband’s siblings, stayed here for 5 nights over Thanksgiving. It easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 kids (it could even hold more!). It is so spacious that we never felt cramped, yet so cozy that we felt immediately at home. It is furnished with everything we needed to have a wonderful holiday gathering. The property feels so bucolic (gardens, ponds, open fields) yet is only a few minutes from all the modern conveniences of grocery stores and takeout restaurants. My kids loved the swing set and collection of toys in the family room - huge win! Nightly fun was had over the coolest scrabble board we have ever seen. We will definitely be back!
We truly felt as if we were welcomed into someone’s home. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the pool was a delight. There was a bit of construction going on next door (obvi outside their control) which was unfortunate but Stu went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, down to telling us the fish in the stocked pond liked turkey hot dogs (which they did; my three year old caught a 2’ bass and made a lifetime memory!). All in all a great experience from warm, hospitable people. I will certainly look to rent from them again in the future.
Fruit Hill Farm is a beautiful home just outside Cincinnatti. All of us enjoyed the spacious, warm and sparkling clean home. Our 3 year old grandchildren Especially enjoyed the toy room, heated pool, swing set, picking vegetables in the garden, walking the nature trail, and looking for fish. The kitchen was well appointed, and we enjoyed our meals on the patio while listening to the sounds of summer. There were multiple places to sit and enjoy the outdoors, overlooking the gardens, pond and fountain. Stu and Cathy were very easy to work with, and excellent hosts. We hope to return!
Fruit Hill Farms was intended to be a nice long weekend relaxing by the pool but the house/property transformed our close to home quick getaway into a truly spectacular vacation. The Kitchen was expertly stocked with anything we needed, the beds were beyond comfortable and the pool was the perfect temperature, beautifully serene and quite large! The house is filled with extremely comfortable furniture and many places to cozy up to tv/books/games. The grounds surrounding the house deserve to be featured in a magazine, the posting photos can’t begin to do them justice. Countless porches, patios (covered or uncovered), gardens and perfectly sculpted hedge lined pathways are there as a peaceful escape from the real world. We ended up Happily equating it to feeling like a real life Alice in Wonderland. It is truly hard to believe a place like this exists in the location it does. I am already planning my next escape to this hidden gem, can’t wait to return!
