This was a last minute stay. The host was great to respond immediately and sent regular updates for the stay. The home was nice and spacious. Most of the home was very clean. I would have given 5 stars except the base of the toilet in the main bathroom was not clean and behind the couch was not swept. We saw behind the couch while plugging in chargers. Also, the hot tub is in a very odd place. Yes, I would still stay again.

Home was good but needs a good dusting. (Beds and corners) Accidentally dropped something under the bed and I regretting looking. A lot of Lady bugs in the living room by couch… pretty strange. Back sliding door doesn’t open all the way and the coffee machine worked very very slow. Power AND water went out on the last day while we were showering and doing laundry and Did not go back on. So pretty disappointed had to drive 9 hours back home without a shower and with wet clothes. Beds were comfortable and the home was close to main roads. Not too far up the mountain. Jacuzzi was also great!

First day of stay was a disaster. Check in times are 4pm. Approximately 2 pm we have not heard anything from host, no check in instructions. When messaged requesting information, “owner” responded with “if you like to book this property follow instructions”. We traveled to the cottage and maintenance had the place a mess working on AC and said it will be an hour. Hot and humid outside we waited. Getting close to 430 pm my husband went over to check on the house and one of the maintenance men yelled at my husband and was very rude. Husband contacted the manger after on hold for 30 minutes finally a lady answered. We requested another cabin similar to what we paid for. Finally after an hour of back and forth calls they gave us another cabin just for the night until the Farmhouse cottage was finished. A couple miles down the road we get to cabin and it was very run down. “Bear Life” cabin had thick cob webs in all windows, floor very weak, hair matted on walls, balcony door looked kicked in. Next day we were able to check in with the original cabin. It was nice. Only problems we had during stay was the house needs a major pest control. We were unaware of it running off of well water so it had calcium build up on utensils and hot tub. The pool table was nice except it needs a bigger room. We had to avoid hitting the walls and windows. There was also bags of trash near shed. We made the best of the stay with our family. We stay in a lot of cabins and never had this to happen.

Cottage has been updated on the inside but the outside needs to be cleaned. Slick algae growing on the concrete and backyard area looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since the winter. Pay close attention to the pics to ensure this place has all the comforts you want. I overlooked some things. Two of the three bedrooms lacked furniture. Only side tables- no chest, dressers or mirrors. This made it difficult to unpack and with the rooms being small it was hard to also just leave the suitcases out. No bedrooms had TVs. Bathrooms were missing trash cans. Again, those things were not advertised but it would have made the stay more comfortable. Also, please call the management company to ensure the pool is functioning. It wasn’t when we stayed. I was told at the end of the trip there was another pool we could have used, however that was never made known to us in the check in process.

We had a family of 5, all adults. We loved Tennessee, and had to see all the sights! The only drawback was location...it is located in the hills of Tennessee. The drawback is that i get carsick, seasick, trampoline sick, roller-coaster sick, ect. Every time we left we had to drive through the mountain the home is located in, including a steep driveway. My sons, and husband had no issue at all, and we loved the home! While some of the necessitates were missing, like hand towels for the kitchen, garbage bags....the home was comfy. We spent our evenings playing pool, or watching a movie, roasted some Marshmallows over the fire. It was located close to a main tourist drag with some fun things to do, about an hour from the smokey mountain trails. The home was clean and friendly decor. The queen sized beds were too firm for both of us, and my one son didn't care how that felt. The other 2 beds were super comfy reported from the other 2 sons. Over all, it was almost perfect for me, and great & perfect from the men in the family!
