Pleasant stay. Beautiful place.
A 5/5 if you enjoy the outdoors. The house was clean and was great for our group to stay for a wedding we went to a few miles down the road. We enjoyed the fire pit and there was plenty of room for us to spread out in the house. The appliances were a bit dated but overall a good stay.
My family was in the area for my niece's wedding. This property was large enough for most of the family to stay together. The open indoor space allowed for all of us to hang out together and visit. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces, taking several walks around the property, playing ping pong, and sitting on the deck sipping coffee and relaxing. The home was clean, the beds comfortable, and the location perfect for our needs. Check in was quick and simple. Checking out was the same. I hope our family will be able to return for another visit.
Would definitely visit again, property was well maintained. Overall great experience!
This property was so much fun for our large extended family vacation. We wanted a place with plenty of room for multiple adults and kids and a fun outdoor space. The kids had a blast chasing grasshoppers around the yard. They played ping pong and explored the pathways through the fenced-in woods around the house. The hammocks were my favorite part and the outdoor string lights made the backyard beautiful at night. The fire pit circle made some great memories with music, laughter, and smores (we brought our own speaker for music). The teenagers played video games in the bunkhouse when it was too hot to be outside. We enjoyed the hike down to the back of the property to go see the creek. It's mostly dried up right now but the kids still had a lot of fun. The property is secluded so kids had the freedom to run around and be loud and not worry about bothering neighbors. The only downside was the bunkhouse not having an attached bathroom. You have to walk under a covered porch to get to the main house to get to a bathroom. The owners are amazing and very helpful during the entire stay. Giving it five stars for our stay!
The owner is quite pleasant and responded right back to us. The house is very clean and quite big. The outside was pretty unkept. Wasn’t like the pictures. We weren’t going to spend much time outdoors anyway so that wasn’t really a problem. But if u plan on being outside u probably won’t be that pleased. Our problem was there were so very many spiders and bugs in the house and we killed several scorpions. Which might not be a problem for most people in Texas but it was really too big a problem for our family so we left a day early. It is a beautiful property but needs some TLC. Again. The owner was so nice.
What a great location and stay! There were the best private hike trails and charming Texas nature. Such a cute country kitchen and comfortable bed and linens too. Definitely will be back! What a great way to get out of the city.
