The house was roomy for just two of us and we appreciated the laundry area and detergent as we had been on the road a few days and it was time to wash clothes. (Though the washer and dryer are very noisy.). The house is on the corner of a busy highway so I’m not sure it’s the best place for kids to run around. We didn’t have any with us. The street noise didn’t disturb our sleep. The kitchen is stocked for cooking meals with plenty of pots and pans, and some spices. The house was clean but the paint is tired and could use some freshening up. And there’s a sort of musty smell upon entering, or dankness, or maybe at some point in the past there was a smoker living in it. We couldn’t put our finger on it. But we were comfortable staying there and had no issues making the house work for our 2 day stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! We really appreciated all of the little touches that were added throughout the home to make it feel cozy and welcoming. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the space was open and bright. We loved the air conditioning units and many fans that were provided for the hot summer months. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a nice stay except for the rusty water. The odor of rust was quite strong as well as the color on the shower wall and shower curtain.

Had a good stay! House is clean and had all we needed. I liked the Sauna, and appreciated the coffee/tea bar, snacks and soap supplies. Memory foam I think on beds and pillows. Not much of a cozy feel overall but I think it’s recently renovated and will get there. Enough room and clean!

Great spot for 6 of us on a skiing vacation. Downtown Stowe is quaint with a lot of great eateries, bakeries, coffee places. Convenient grocery allowed us to cook at the house several nights.

Property was as described. The road noise from route 100 was not noticeable within the house. The fire pit was a great property enhancement. Lots of seating and the bathrooms were well maintained. Would rent again!

Property had clean bathrooms and bed linens -the common areas could use some sprucing up. The hot water was not consistent in all baths and had a definite smell to it. I made the owner aware. We only stayed the weekend so not sure what was found to be the cause of any solution. The owner was very responsive to any and all questions.

The house was great and just as depicted in the pictures. Location was great as well, just a short drive to everything in the Stowe area. We did have an issue with none of the hot water working and when the property manager tried to get technicians to fix, the next available wasn't until after we left. We were offered a slight reimbursement, though it was quite small considering not having hot water for an entire weekend. It did not seem like the property manager really cared about our inconvenience.

5 of us - 2 'adults' and 3 grown kids - all stayed at the home. We all had plenty of space. When arriving I was confused between a key lock mounted outside the door and the integrated handle lock on the door. A quick call to the owner cleared up the confusion. The integrated lock takes some getting used to and can be a bit finicky to operate at times. We ate out mostly so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything anyone would need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we loved the ceiling fans. On a really hot day the fans might not have been enough but they were enough for us. The home is very near a road that has a lot of traffic but the only time road noise was an issue was when we were outside around the fireplace. Had we opened the windows, however, the noise might have been a bother. Getting out of the road is a bit challenging because seeing oncoming traffic in one direction is limited. In addition, there is no road sign so GPS will get you there but you have to know where to turn. Once you learn this, all is fine. The laundry facilities were fine but a bit loud and the hot water was a little on the cool side for us - especially if both showers are running at the same time. The home is located very near town which made getting to shops and restaurants very easy. All in all it was a great long weekend. We'd definitely stay here again.
