Stayed Sep 28, 2025The property does have fantastic lake views and is very clean. The house has plenty of room and is well appointed. For the price, it would be nice to have a hot tub or other outdoor amenities that overlook the lake. We never did find the firewood for the wood stove in the basement, which would have taken the edge off on a cold October night. Overall, we would recommend this property.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025We traveled as a family of five . . two Grandparents, a Daughter and Grandsons of seven and four years old.The accommodations were as stated with lots of space and plenty of activities for everyone in between outings. One surprise we had was that one of the bedrooms was downstairs. As it turned out, this gave us a sense of privacy for the two groupings. We loved the large covered deck with chairs and dining table that easily sat six! Evenings on the deck overlooking the beauty of Lake Okanagan and the lights of Summerland on the opposite shore were delightful!Mornings brought wildlife sightings of owls, a black bear, Stellar Jays, Quail and more.Sylvia provided prompt attention to any of our requests! The only sporadic issue we had at the rental was the bedroom a/c being finicky. Sylvia advised later that she had that a/c replaced. We would definitely be happy to book a stay at this rental again!!

Stayed Jun 22, 2025Great location for cycling, right below the KVR. Fabulous deck with view and beds are very comfortable! House is older but clean and well maintained. While there are 2 bathrooms on main floor, only one has bath/shower which isn’t ideal for 2 couples because 1 needs to use the basement shower which is extremely small for adults. Some windows have no screens and the house definitely needs windows open. The knives and cutlery overall should be upgraded as well as better wine glasses for wine country! We bought our own. No steak knives for steaks done on the nice bbq. No coffee maker except Keurig coffee so we brought our own machine for 2 couples having morning coffee on the beautiful view deck. Sylvia, the owner is very responsive and they included a bottle of wine which was a nice touch.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025Excellent quiet location ideally situated for a stay at Naramata. Easy to get to the village, nice short hikes and bike trails nearby and lots of wineries. The view is truly amazing and it was wonderfull to eat breakfast, lunch and supper out on the deck, surrounded by peaceful woodland and still be able to go wine tasting and to the beach!House is clean, well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. The boys enjoyed the table tennis and fooseball while their parents soaked in the view!

Stayed May 24, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at the house. In particular, the beautiful view was amazing, and the deck was fabulous...so nice to have it covered yet with an option to be in the sun. The house was very comfortable, especially with air conditioning. Sylvia was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay there again AND recommend it to friends.

Stayed Sep 10, 2024Property was clean and well equipped. (Could have used some cleaning supplies. So pleasant to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. The location was very private and cozy. We appreciated the bottle of wine left for us to enjoy. We wished there were some cleaning supplies, like something to sanitize surfaces after using them. Also a note telling us where to find extra trash bags would have been helpful (we found them on the morning we left - they were in the can under our very full, used trash bag). Other than those minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024Large space was perfect for everyone having their own space and washroom. The view of the lake was one of my favorite things bout this location. We spent most of our time out on the deck including eating our meals at the large table. The third bedroom is downstairs with its own bathroom/shower. That was a pleasant surprise for our adult son. The BBQ was used every day for cooking in. The beds were very comfortable and the linens and towels were very nice quality. We were just there in the heatwave and the air conditioning units worked great. The downstairs stayed nice and cool on its own. The hosts were so great. Sylvia promptly replied when the coffee machine wasn't working and came over immediately to replace. (With spunk and energy and her own personal Keurig might I add.?) We prefer Naramata to Penticton just because it is less busy. The main beach is right down the road and is beautiful and has washroom facilities. There is a little store that carries just about everything you need to grab. The bench wineries are fantastic and we even found and incredible brewery and cidery on the same road. Win win!!! We would for sure stay here again.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024We had a great stay at this VRBO. The house was as advertised. The views spectacular! A few more amenities in the kitchen would be helpful: non-wood chopping board, salt and pepper shakers with salt and pepper in them, potato peeler, etc.

Stayed May 30, 2024Our stay at this house was amazing! Nestled in a scenic and tranquil location, this property provided the perfect retreat for us after a busy day at the Megavolt E-mountain bike races. The views were simply breathtaking, and we enjoyed every moment spent on the roomy deck, taking in the natural beauty that surrounded us! The house itself was incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating our family with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there were plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable, from good-quality linens to entertainment options. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a scenic, tranquil, and spacious getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home!
