Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Welcome to Palm Beach Gardens, this house is setup primarily for guests and it’s perfect for relaxing vacation. This 3000 sf house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The house is located in the heart of Palm beach gardens closed to many major store you name it, example (Publix, Walmart, target, Costco Mall and Outlets, and the beach are short distance near by. ) house is located on 1 acre lot, you can park your RV, Boat, or many cars. In other to turn on the pool heat there is $40 fee per night.
Overall great place to stay with our family while vacationing in the area over Winter break. The house was in a nice, safe neighborhood and it was clean with spacious rooms. The owner was very responsive and friendly. One thing to note, we chose the property mainly because of the pool and it states the pool is heated, but it was definitely colder than expected and we were told it would be an additional $40/day charge to heat it.
This home was in a great location near our relatives in Palm Beach Gardens. It was very clean, which is always a critical point for us when we stay at a VRBO. There was plenty of space for 8 of us, and the screened pool area was a popular place to hang out in the evening. The instructions from the owner were clear, and she immediately responded to us with directions to solve a minor issue when we checked in (a motion detector wouldn't turn off). We had no other issues during the week. The convenience and the cleanliness made this a no-worry stay for us.
The house is very nice, and it's the cleanest house we've stayed in to date. But, we had to pay extra to heat the pool, which we had been told was heated, and although it was warm outside, the pool was chilly and took days to reach warm temperature. In addition. Peacocks in the neighborhood gave us quite a scare when they screeched. No orange juicer in a state known for its oranges. All kinds of noises from machines turning on and off automatically. Couldn't find instructions to any of the appliances. The stove seems to have been cleaned so many times that most of the indications, like lo, hi, medium, have been scrubbed off. Good communication with owner, except for hot tub in master bath not working. !0:00 am checkout time is early when you are with lots of little kids. We did our best to make it, but were 20 min. late. We felt bad because the cleaner was waiting outside in their car. We alerted owner that we were running a little late. These are all small matters, and I mean them to suggest improvements. I still rate the house highly.
House was very clean and the pool was nice and fun, there are so many stores and restaurants near by. Owner was very responsible with everything. I would stay at this property again.
Host was responsive to questions and quick to correct an issue ( no propane in grill tank, master bath spa tub broken). The space was very roomie, plenty enough room for our family. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighborhood peacocks were beautiful. The house was clean and the host, Kim, made sure to keep the pool clean with an automatic water vacuum we named, Bub. Great location, only 5 miles to a nice beach, and the property provided a variety of beach toys! Then there was the enclosed pool! Such a great place to swim, play, relax and all without worrying about getting eaten by mosquitos/ bugs or worrying about flies bothering us when eating on the huge pool patio! May we suggest some plastic or unbreakable plates, measuring cups/spoons and some beach towels (or at least recommend guests bring their own) and a couple more dish towels. The home was just a great place to relax, enjoy, prepare for and recuperate ( from a family memorial service). If We’re in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, a home away from home retreat.
This property is a very mixed bag, with many positive features, and many that are problematic. The house is generally roomy and comfortable, but the décor is random and unattractive, there’s a lot of wasted space, and two of the bathrooms are cramped and difficult to navigate (with very strange towels). The kitchen has high-end appliances and cabinets, but it is not all that well stocked (e.g., no blender or steak knives, very few plates and glassware). The pool is clean, well-maintained, and a nice size (with a small but pleasant lanai with an overhead fan), but the deck area is minimally furnished (only two chaise lounges), has several cracked (and possibly dangerous) tiles, and is generally kind of dingy and unappealing. The TV is terrific, but it is not easy to use and the DVD player was malfunctioning. So again, a mixed bag. One totally positive feature is the location, which is convenient to shopping, restaurants, Roger Dean Stadium, the airport, and so on. And the peacocks wandering the neighborhood are wonderful . . . if you remember to bring earplugs for sleeping.
Really nice house. After I got the check in instructions I got additional rules that made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Such as, no shoes in the house, (slippers were provided) do not touch the fruit trees, no more that the 10 people were allowed to enter the house. I was visiting family were stopped by and this was never explained before the trip.
Invited our son's family of 6 kids ranging from 2 to 14 to share a long weekend. House was perfect. Large open LR and kitchen area. Great for cooking. Great benefit were the beautiful peacocks.
We were there mainly to play golf and there were many great courses in the area. Enjoyed the stay and the owner was very responsive to all our communications.
What a find! Thank you, Kim. Your impeccable home is the best. The large lot, veiw of Square Lake, the walkable neighborhood and the fab pool (The changing color pool light is a nice touch!) make for a relaxing and fun filled stay. The location is an easy drive to Juno Beach and restaurants. Grocery stores are within walking distance. Really, it's the best!
