Family oasis beach retreat in quiet woodlands

The house was perfect— everything you could possibly think of, the hosts already thought of. We had VRBO technical difficulties, but Cindy was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our large multigenerational family. We had plenty of room to cook, play and enjoy being together. Our only regret is that it was too cold to enjoy the beautiful screened in back porch!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! The layout was perfect, well appointed kitchen, having sheets and towels provided was so convenient! The upstairs was just what we needed for the kiddos for them to have their own space and to keep them entertained during the rain storm. We made wonderful memories

This is a very family friendly house. The built in bunks are awesome. We didn’t have any kiddos with us this time. It’s the second time we have stayed in this house and we would definitely stay again. It’s a beautiful house and in a nice location to all of Oak Island. The dining room table fits everyone and the screened in porch is tremendous.

Loved the location to beach and walking distance to grocery and some restaurants. Space is great for families.

House had ample room for our family get together, which included dogs. The house is as advertised. Close to all amenities. The owners were wonderful with communication.

We had an amazing stay. The house offered plenty of sleeping options, making it perfect for a large group. There were many games for the younger kids to enjoy, and the upstairs nook provided a great space for the older kids to have their own area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare a holiday feast, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house is conveniently located close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. We didn’t try walking due to the cold weather, but in warmer months, I’m sure the walk wouldn’t be too bad. The variety of family games and activities kept everyone entertained. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future.

House is very accommodating for larger groups or families. I personally like the intercostal side, especially when I bring the boat. Would defiantly stay here again. Host Cynthia was very responsive and informative.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We get together with our friends annually at a different location as we live in Richmond, VA and they live in Charlotte, NC. It was the perfect house with a fun bunk room for the four kiddos and spacious rooms for the four adults. The location was perfect… got to walk our dog by the Intercoastal Waterway to see sunrise then walk to the beach in less than a mile. Absolutely perfect location! Owners were great and provided great communication.

We had our first full family vacation years here. It was the perfect stay with the most amazing and helpful hosts. The house was well equipped for cooking for a crowd every night. The kids loved the bunk beds and the adults loved the back patio.

The house was a perfect fit for our family gathering. There was lots of space for everyone. The loft space upstairs was perfect for the kids. We had good hot water when all 3 showers were running. The kitchen had a good variety of pans and appliances. The the keypad entrance was perfect, very easy to use, we didn’t have to worry about keys. Great location with Publix at the end of the street. Stop light one street over made it very easy to get on to the the main road. They seemed to have put a lot of thought in to the house.

House and location were great for a family vacation! We had a great week, property was well equipped and amenities were great. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Highly recommend for a large family.

The house was great! We traveled with 4 adults and 9 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us not to feel smooshed. The kids loved the bunk room, been bag chairs, ample beach toys, boogie boards, and that the donut and ice cream place was 2 blocks away. The adults loved the screened in porch for morning coffee, fully stocked kitchen, and everyone was thankful for the outdoor shower when coming home from the beach. The house is very close to 2 grocery stores and multiple restaurants as well. The owners were kind and quick to respond anytime I had a question! We would love to come back!
