The host was extremely accessible and communicative, the house was clean and the included use of the local athletic club was a huge bonus!

We had a great week staying at the Muku Place house. The house was very comfortable for our mixed age family group (ages 23-83) of seven & exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped & we enjoyed meals at the big dining room table & the outdoor table on the front porch. The young adults on our group loved going to the Poipu Athletic Club to swim, get drinks & food by the pool, play ping pong & try out the cold plunge.The location was perfect, we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach & there was something for everyone - snorkeling at Poipu beach, boogie boarding at Brennecke beach & swimming at the Sheraton Beach. Great morning snorkeling at Koloa landing. One of our best family vacations.My only suggestion would be to stock some basics for cooking like spices, vinegar, oil, soy sauce. We had to buy a bunch of basics even though we only used a little bit.

Amazing property to stay at. So close to some of the best Kauai has to offer. home is so comfortable with lots of little perks that make the stay more comfortable and relaxing.

The house was a good fit for our family of eight. Kitchen supplied with all the necessary utensils. The house had access to Kauai Athletic Club which was conveniently located, which allowed for fitness workout and pool.

We stayed with 3 other couples, 8 adults total. The house was roomy, well furnished, and well suited for 8 people. No air conditioning, but a whole house fan brought in the cool evening and night air. Beautiful property!!

Excellent stay near beaches in Poipu. Very clean property. We were a little afraid of no air conditioning, but with fans on at night it was pleasant. Plenty of space to spread out and give the family their own rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this house in Kauai! We were a group of 7 and each had their own bed, which was a requirement for us. The house was clean, tidy and very well appointed with kitchenware, bed linens and extras like beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas and wake boards! There was plenty of space for us to spread out and have some privacy as well as community spaces for all of us to gather. The location in Poipu was terrific - within walking distance to Poipu Beach and easily accessible to other points of interests and activities. The passes to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was awesome and used several times by the 5 young men with us (two adult children and three nephews)! Our hosts were great and very friendly - they provided clear instructions and helped information for our stay and responsive to questions too. They even gifted us bananas grown on their property! Highly recommend. We would def stay here again.

We loved staying here for our trip to Kauai! We were a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids). The four bedrooms and 3 full bath were a perfect set up for us. Loved the open kitchen/living room layout. The home was beautiful and our hosts Juliana and James were very nice and got back to me quickly with any questions I had. The kids loved the fitness center/pool. It was a short (less than 5 min) drive to Poipu beach. Close to several places to eat and shop. We will definitely see if this place is available next time we visit.

The home was perfect for our group of six, with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, providing plenty of space and convenience after beach days. The kitchen had standard cookware, plus extras like saran wrap, foil, and Tupperware, which were great for packing lunches for hikes and kayaking. The living room’s ample seating made it a cozy spot for us to relax together. Thoughtful touches like extra hangers and beach chairs in the garage were much appreciated.An early check-in was arranged, which we loved. Julianna, one of the owners, gave our daughters a garden tour, sharing her knowledge and even gifting us fresh grapefruits. The home’s quiet neighborhood and location, just 0.83 miles from Poipu Beach, made beach outings easy and enjoyable.**Things to Note:** The owners, Julianna and Jim, live on-site. This duplex has a shared driveway: owners park on the left, guests on the right or under the mango tree. The garage serves as a workshop and houses the washer/dryer. The exterior is a maintained garden—guests are asked not to pick fruit. There’s no air conditioning, though fans and a ventilation system circulate air. All doors are louvered, allowing airflow but limited privacy.

This house was great for a large group and walkable to poipu beach (20 mins). The owners who live on property were very accommodating and friendly, we loved the fresh grapefruit they gave us from the tree. The garage was stocked full of sand toys, wagon and chairs. Only watch out for families is the house is a split level with tile floors - nerve racking with a newly walking toddler. Overall the house had everything we needed.

We had a beautiful home close to poipu beach near first class restaurants and beach club for our use.

Great location for family time. Our adult children enjoyed having access to the gym, while our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the gym pool/slide. Easy walk to the ocean. Quite neighborhood.

We had a great time together with three generations celebrating a milestone birthday. The home was perfect for our entire family to spend precious time together!

This place was perfect for us. We had two families of 4 and we could not have asked for a better place. Location put us a few blocks from a great beach and the included athletic club was an added perk. Beautiful garden and well maintained home with very responsive host.

Enjoyed the island

We had an amazing time in Poipu. Jim and Juliana were wonderful hosts and the house was as advertised. We were very comfortable during our stay and had everything we needed. We walked to the beach every morning and there are lots of amenities close by if needed. Would definitely stay again!
