Stayed Dec 28, 2025The house was ideally located—just minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It had all the amenities our family needed for a comfortable stay. Megan was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and quickly resolving a small issue when a remote was missing upstairs by having one delivered the very next day. She was a fantastic communicator throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated her responsiveness and hospitality.

Stayed May 23, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Megan’s place! The home was cozy and welcoming, and Megan was a great host. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness and the guest book’s instructions. There were a few small things we noticed during our stay, which Megan kindly mentioned she’d look into: the laundry room had some garbage left when we arrived, the blinds in the downstairs bedroom were broken, and the bedside lamp on the right side of the downstairs bed wasn’t working. My parents also noticed that the downstairs bed had a noticeable sink in the middle, which might be something to check for future guests. Additionally, we noticed that the fan lights throughout the house weren’t functioning properly—the fan would turn on, but we had to manually switch the fan off to turn the light on. Hopefully, this will be an easy fix for future guests. One small suggestion that could be helpful for older guests is adding slip strips on the stairs for extra safety. Unfortunately, checked out a day early, due to a family emergency. Despite that, we’re so grateful for the hospitality and had a truly wonderful time. Thank you again, Megan—we wish you the best!

Stayed Mar 7, 2025Check in was great. The heat did not work on the main floor and only blew cool air. The heat upstairs started working on the second night. Luckily we had good weather. The middle slat of the master bed was broken and made sleep difficult and woke up sore every morning. My husband slept better on the couch than on the bed. We had a great time, just wished we didn’t have issues.

Stayed Nov 3, 2024The home was almost as described. It is spacious, beds were comfortable, both bathrooms were clean and the washer & dryer were great. It is on a steep grade and in a great location. The home is in a great location and had easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. We were working at Camp Cedar Cliff, on the Billy Graham Training Center Campus, building tiny homes for people displaced by the flooding. This home was only about 5 miles from the camp. Thank You for having this home open with a reasonable price. It was awesome!

Stayed Jun 26, 2023Second time to rent this property as I love the neighborhood and the closeness to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore Estate, a grocery store, a couple gas stations, and downtown Asheville. Very peaceful setting and this time was thrilled to see a black bear walk past the house on his way to forage for food in the woods. Would rent again if visiting Asheville in the future.
