Inside this renovated 1840s farmhouse, your family or large group will be able to relax and spread out. The secluded, rural setting is perfect for a getaway together.
On the main level, enjoy comfortable furnishings and a TV with cable in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances for whipping up delicious meals, and a formal dining room that easily be used for a game night. Retreat to the office for peaceful times and use the free WiFi to finish up any projects or deadlines. Work out in the fitness/gym room. Toss the day's laundry in the washer/dryer. Bathrooms on this level provide added convenience.
When it's time to settle down, all three bedrooms are upstairs and provide comfort for a good night's rest. There's also an office space with a futon for late night work, plus two full bathrooms.
But no matter what room everyone decides to sleep in, everyone can come together in the backyard. The private gas grill is set up for cooking and eating together at the outdoor table on starry nights. Though everyone will probably need to take turns relaxing on the hammock!
This home may feel like it isn't close to much, but it's actually just shy of nine miles from Okemo Mountain Resort. Guests can enjoy skiing and snowboarding (and lots of other activities!) at Okemo in the winter, with plenty of summer fun available such as disc golf, golf at either of the two different golf courses, and the Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster. The Mt. Holly area also contains Camp Plymouth State Park, a fun spot for hiking and fishing just over 11 miles from the home. When things calm down and people no longer feel like cooking, local restaurants The Rustic Rooster and the Downtown Grocery offer dining and take-out within nine miles of the home.

A lovely family ski vacation, 10 minutes from Okemo. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, and great living area to hang out in after skiing. Good restaurants in town, though very crowded after the mountain closes. Recommend making reservations the night before.
This is a charming old home about 10 miles from Okemo/Downtown Ludlow. Like all old homes it has its quirks but I'll never find fault with an old house with huge plank wood floors. Impeccably stocked kitchen and comfy furniture. It was almost perfect for our group of friends. I didn't realize I was renting from a management company (Vacasa) rather than a person like normal VRBO so issues that come up you're dealing with a call center rather than an owner. Only 2 issues - no salt or kitty litter available for ice and there was a ton of ice making walkways and entrance pretty rough the day we checked out. Also hot- water-on-demand takes between 5-10 minutes to get hot water on any floor in February. So get up, turn water on, go back to bed and hit snooze. ? Other than that a beautiful, comfy, old world Vermont Farmhouse was a perfect place for our group! Definitely no shortage of bathrooms!!
Great spacious house, clean and warm, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and large living area to hang out in. 10 minutes from Okemo. Ludlow is a cute town, but really crowded, so make dinner reservations the night before!
A former inn with many bedrooms and baths - perfect for our 4 couples and two children . It even had an office for those who needed to check in with work. Beautiful lawns and rustic flower beds. All very family friendly.
Clean spacious old well kept needs a little maintenance
Very happy
We were sad to leave! This farm house is tastefully decorated adding to the comfortable, restful feel of its surroundings. We enjoyed our stay exploring the area, swimming at buttermilk falls and visiting neighboring downtowns. The yard is also beautiful and we spent time enjoying the grounds. I highly recommend this charming home.
Nice, large house with plenty of rooms/space and amenities, and ample outdoor space. WiFi was very fast and good for a WFH getaway. The house is very old but well-maintained, though the house was somewhat hard to heat/cold inside, and we found some insects/spiders roaming around. Also thought it was odd that there were no curtains on many of the windows. Overall had a nice stay!
