Family-friendly, Quiet, and Gated 3-bedroom Townhouse in Central Richmond

Pros: communication was pretty good. The beds were pretty firm, we thought perhaps too firm, but everyone slept well and no one was sore the next day. Also, our kids enjoyed the large TV in the living room.Cons: there were not enough dishes, and the ones that were there in the drawers and cupboards weren't clean. We used paperware/plasticware because we were pretty disgusted by the dishes. Also, the master shower needed a good deep cleaning. There were also very basic decor and amenities (for instance, we couldn't find a single tissue box), and it just didn't have as nice a feel as most places where we have stayed.

The just matin was great, answered any questions promptly and gave thorough instructions on how to Acess property.

The house was amazing! Beds were super comfortable. Some of the dining chairs were broken but we made it work.

Quiet and affordable.

PROS: The property and neighborhood was quiet and nice. The instructions on entering the gate and the home itself was very easy. The owner was very responsive when I needed anything. CONS: Upon first glance the house smelled clean and looked fairly the same. After the doing a thorough inspection of the house it was very dirty. The kitchen trash was not empty and there was a food container inside. The dish soap was actually TIDE laundry detergent. The light fixtures in the half bath had some sort of brown stain on it as well as the wall. The hand towels in all the bathrooms were used and not laundered. The upstairs hall bathroom still had a dirty towel hanging in the shower. There were no washcloths to wash our bodies with, so we had to go to the store and purchase them. The master bathroom tub was the only reason I booked the home, and it was filled with dirt. I cleaned it out, but the tub drain was backed up, so we didn't use the tub only the shower. The air condition wasn't working as the filter light was blinking on the thermostat. The iron didn't work. OVERALL: We took out ALL the trash before we left and washed the two cups used and made sure the refrigerator was empty. We were there for my daughter's college graduation, so we were only there to sleep but it would have been nicer if the home was clean and not lived in.
