Family-Friendly House with Heated Pool & Private Garden – Close to the Beach

One of the best houses ever !

We’ve just returned from a gorgeous 2 weeks away in this beautiful house. We were 2 families staying at this house situated in the picturesque outskirts of Plouescat. The house was was just the perfect base for travelling further inland and to local beaches. The house has a lovey covered heated pool, and the children loved the addition of the pool and table tennis tables. There is plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and chill and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area or equally enough room for the kids to run around and play. The availability of bikes was great which gave our teenage children the independence to cycle to the local bakery or nearby beaches. We had days out to the aquarium in Brest and an amusement park La Récré des 3 Curés both about 50 mins away. We explored the local beaches our favourites were at Plage de Plouescat and Saint Pol de leon about 20 mins away. The hosts also provided lots of information of the local area. There was a market in Ploucescat on a Saturday and markets in most of the local towns all of which were all about 25 mins away. The local town of Plouescat a few mins drive away had a couple of lovely bakeries where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. As well as a reasonably large supermarket and petrol station. We had a wonderful stay at the Maison bleu! The house is beautiful, and we loved spending time by the pool. Laurence and Therry have been amazing with helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Thank you for a lovely holiday! We hope to return soon. ---

Excellent property, plenty of space in the house and kitchen brilliant with tea, coffee, seasonings, oils etc. Lots of modern cons and equipment providied. Games room brilliant, plenty of games for the garden and pool. Space for personal bikes as well X6 bikes available. Comfortable beds though would make some tweaks to bedrooms (informed owner). Owner very responsive and thoughtful. Would be very happy to return. Menfig Beach beautiful and 5 mins on the bike. Centre of town, less then 10 mins. 67 year old Mother very impressed with how well equipped the house was. Swimming pool very warm and cover provided shelter from the wind. Very private garden. Beautifully equipped and comfortable property with delightful owners who were happy to help with any problems. Ideal for families with young children. 2nd shower along the corridor by the garage ideal for rising off children before going in the pool. The bikes were ideal for popping along the easy distance to the bakery for breakfast!!

We have had a wonderful time in this lovely house. Everything you can possibly need for a vacation home was there! We even got some fresh vegetables from Thierry who has his own bio farm. Delicious! Laurence was always ready to help us out and the two of them are such kind people who gave us such a warm welcome. The house is in a lovely spot. You can walk to the beach if you like or walk around through fields and quiet roads. Almost everyday we made a different walk right from the house. It’s such a beautiful area! Our kids also loved the house! Not only the pool and garden, but also the ‘games’ room was a big plus. We actually were not ready yet to go home as we had more to explore…so we just have to come back! ☺️ We would definitely recommend this place and we surely hope we can come back some day.
