Family friendly home w/ pool & steps to beach

Very family friendly Home - as advertised. Rental mgt was professional and prompt to any issues that arose. Photos accurately depict the unit. Would recommend to families with small children

Home is well appointed with plenty of dishes and glassware, mugs and flatware. All appliances are high quality and perfect for entertaining. The walk to the beach is a bit further than we expected, but easy once you realize that the gulf beach is beyond the lagoon. There are plenty of beach towels and good quality chairs, coolers, etc.

The house and garage is loaded with kiddy staff. Couldn't even park in the garage. For families with kids a very good place. Extraordinary disappointment is the installation of cameras on the property without informing the guest. Real disappointing and disgusting is that one camera (on the pool deck and was hot) pointed directly into the kitch, living room as well as covering part of the sleeping room. Recording might has happened and would be totally ill-legal. I do expect an answer!

The pool is fenced and there are many pool accessories for adults and kids. There are many toys and entertainment options for children such as a beautiful play room/corner for kids well-equipped with nunerous toys, a play kitchen, desk and chairs. Perfect for small and big kids alike. Nice kitchen, although not well stocked. Basics like cooking oil, detergent, kitchen towels, coffee would have been a nice touch. Same goes for bathroom toiletries and garbage bags. I wish we did not have to go stock up on these basics (soap, shampoo, kitchen towels and garbage bags etc.) after a long day of travel... BBQ in the backyard was equipped with enough gas for o only a couple of hours of grilling, so one use really. Host staff were kind and responsive although it didn't seem like they were communicating well amongst themselves. Overall, it was a great experience, however I wish to see improvements on the aforementioned fronts if we were to return (which we would love to).

Great lay out for grandparents traveling with their children & grands (ages 6.4.1)! Everything you need!!!

We had a great stay at Shanahan Shores! The house was very clean and exactly as the pictures advertised. It was full of great items if you have kids. We appreciated all the items included from crib, crib sheets, bicycles with trailer for towing kids, beach chairs (though a little dated); wagon for taking things to the beach, and the safety fence around the pool for kids. This was great as peace of mind with little kids. The temperature was perfect. We would 100% rent the house again and was in a great location and proximity to everything. The rental company was very helpful with questions and local attractions.

The fence around the pool was a BIG PLUS for our littlest to play. Having bikes & beach supplies was awesome! The weather wasn’t as warm as we wished!A better supply of trash bags and dishwasher detergent would be nice.

Place was perfect. Great location, clean, and comfortable. Pool was so much fun. Owners/managers were very quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The pool was also clean and heated. The kitchen was well equipped. Our family took advantage of the baby/toddler amenities.
