Family-friendly home near the ocean close to seaside, free WiFi, central A/C, & cable

House was clean and as described. A small bag of coffee for the morning would have been a nice touch

Loved that I could get up before sunrise and walk 1-1/2 blocks safely to the waters edge. Also that the grandchildren were safe riding the bikes around and exploring without worrying about their safety. They investigated everyday the area and fished often. We came for the youngest daughter to celebrate her destination wedding, such fun.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars because you can tell this was once a beloved family space. Not sure what has happened, but the current owners need to add some updates. The kitchen is lacking in many areas, and the items that are there are old, mismatched, or broken. The pot I used to boil water, a handle that was coming apart. The king-size bed sags in the middle. Areas of the flooring have gaps near the other two bedrooms. It appears as if the cheap option is taken to cut corners, and money is not wanted to be spent. However, the rate per night is consistent with the area, so you are paying for a Motel 6 at a Marriott price. There was a smell upon arriving that others had mentioned, but it comes and goes. The location is fantastic, the screened-in porch was lovely, there are plenty of towels, bikes were a bonus, plus the beach chairs. This could be a gem if a few items are addressed. It is just hard paying for a rental, and you can tell the owners don't seem to care about their VRBO guests.

The best! We loved our time at Memories. Very cute and cozy with my favorite beach entrance in Seagrove. The bikes were such a nice bonus as well!

I already sent my review to Vacasa, check with them. I'm requesting a refund. I didn't take any pictures but if I had you would see the overflowing garbage can, mosquitoes, and a very unkept yard and entrance. Place smells of mildew. Very bad experience! Unhappy Camper

Cute beach cottage great location. Clean!!The only downside was lichen stove, could barely fit a small pizza in there and kitchen supplies were lacking.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect - short walk to the beach through a shaded neighborhood, and then an easy walk to the downtown. The house was a more rustic vintage style, not modern luxury, which is what we loved about it. Plenty of space for our family of 6. This was our first stay in Seaside and we’d stay here again if we come back!

Loved the original beach house surrounded by the old Magnolia and Live Oak trees. Spent most of the time on the screened in porch when we were at the house. Easy walk to the beach and Seaside. Beds were good and home was clean.

When I opened the door it was like home swee home. So nostalgic. Precious vintage screened in porch. Sweet peaceful white bedrooms. Just a step back into time. We had such a delightful time and plan to stay at Memories again in the future.
