Family-Friendly Home Near Destin Beaches

We had a great stay. The house was very nice and exceptionally clean. The house included all amenities to make us comfortable and communication from the owner was also great.

The stay was good. The neighborhood was nice and very convenient. One issue was that the sofa bed was broken. I reached out to Tony, but never got a response.

The property is exactly as pictured. The community it great. We really appreciated the kitchen was fully stocked and the pot and pans were in great shape. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home located .4 miles from our friends, which made our stay perfect. The home is super clean and spacious. There is a welcome book with suggestions and we did go to Schooners, a restaurant close by and it was fun and kid friendly. We also spent a day at the beach. There are many stores just a short drive from the home. The airport is 20 minutes away and easy to get to. I would recommend staying here and would book again should we travel back to that area.

Just what we needed for three generations! Everyone had their space and the home was clean and close to my son a block away! Great stay!

As the saying goes location, location, location. We loved the proximity to Winn Dixie, BOA and restaurants. We loved how easy it was to go to Shalimar, Fort Walton Beach and Destin. We loved the beach on Okaloosa Island. It was a pleasure not having to eat in chain restaurants; choosing between seafood, Thai, Italian, Greek and German foods was a treat! We highly recommend Nick’s Seafood Restaurant on Hwy 20 West Freeport, Stewby’s Seafood Shanty in Fort Walton Beach and the Twisted Grape Wine Bar in Shalimar, for their burgers, salad and soup! Recreational opportunities abound! My husband enjoyed golfing at Blue Water Bay, Rocky Bayou and Shalimar Point. I enjoyed shopping at Silver Sands Premium Outlets. It was easy traveling from Niceville to Pensacola and Freeport and we enjoyed the quiet of getting away from the beach areas. This VRBO is a winner!

My wife and I stayed at 819 Fairway Lakes Drive with our son for our recent vacation in Niceville and absolutely loved it! We are looking to move to the Bluewater Bay area in the future and wanted to stay in one of the neighborhoods and get a feel for the community and this house was a perfect fit. Our 20 month old son loved the open floor plan and had a blast running around and chasing his toys through the living room. The beds are very comfortable, and everything felt homey. The screened in sunroom was awesome for evening sitting with a glass of wine without getting chewed up by mosquitos. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. We are big beach people and drove to Destin and Lincoln Park twice each and it was literally 15 minutes from pulling out of the driveway to feet on the sand. The only minor suggestion we would have is a few more towels would have been helpful, but I’m nitpicking. Honestly, we could have moved in and made this place a home. I highly recommend this house if you are visiting Niceville or looking for a vacation rental alternative to a hotel. We would rent it again in a heartbeat.

It is a wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the close proximity to the golf course. The house was fully equipped with all you need to cook a nice meal. The bed in master was super comfortable! Tony was super whenever we had contact w him.
