Family Friendly Gem with Patio

Looks are deceiving!! Could use a good deep cleaning!No hot tub as stated On property there is a fenced in part and we did hear noises come to find out people are homeless with plywood shacks back there. At least 2 and my husband seen a man walk out from fenced in area. We climbed on chairs to look over fence and seen this make do home.

The property was amazing to stay at. It was a place where we can come and go freely without interruptions of neighbors or interruptions being too noisy. We were able to receive guest, and we were still comfortable within reason. Made vacation feel like you were at home. I would definitely like to come back to the same property when it comes time for my next vacation in The RIO grand Valley

Pros -The location was fine, it's near the airport -4 rooms with large beds and Tvs in every room. - The front has enough room for 2 trucks -Nice common area to chill Cons: -the place could have been a bit cleaner, there were some dead bugs by the entrance - the fridge had something in the freeze that looks like it's been there for months. -The place doesn't come with amenities that other places usually have like a dishwasher, laundry detergent, and soap/shampoo dispensers -the neighborhood dogs stay outside at all points of the day (I know the owner can't control that) so prepare for that All in all the place wasn't bad for the price.

It was wut we expected big rooms

Great time, great place! Especially loved the dog at the front door. We named him Kevin... he was a greap protector.

Had to chusel burnt coffee out of coffee pot to use it. Hot water heater turned down, so you must mess with water heater or take cool showers. Scavenger hunt to locate bed spreads. Far from the best neighborhood in McAllen. Pics in listing are much more flattering than reality. Upside, gas station and airport are directly across the street.

I provided the review for the end of trip rental. We had to extend another week and I believe the review went to that one.

I had some of our technicians stay at this property for a month and then had to extend for an additional week. Check in was a breeze and Nora responded to all of our questions/concerns as they arose. By random chance, the A/C stopped working during the stay (we were there the full month of June) and she had someone onsite to repair it the same day. Thank you for the long term rental, Nora!

Nora was a great host and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

We would stay here again. I guess that says it all!
