Stayed Sep 20, 2024We were underwhelmed by the home. On the positive, lovely historic home in great proximity to everything. Negative, house smells of pet urine, carpets had urine stains, kitchen floor was disgusting, utensils needed to be washed before using, dishwasher had food in the bottom. No dish washer detergent was provided. The back porch needs power washing and repair. There is no hot tub or jetted tub as advertised. It is a duplex… not a single family home

Stayed Aug 30, 2024The duplex is very big--more space than our family needed, but the extra space was great to have. We loved that the home is dog friendly. The duplex is in a great location, close to the park, the bakery and the main street with shops and restaurants in downtown Cape Charles. Corrina/the property manager was very responsive to my questions.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024The house was everything we were expecting and hoping for. Just a block or two from everything downtown, close to the park, and a short cart ride to the beach. Plenty of space around back to park the cart or an extra car if needed. Great neighborhood.

Stayed Jun 5, 2023No toilet paper when we arrived. Beds in master bedrooms were hard. TVs in bedrooms didn't work. (Remote batteries exploded). Bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere. We couldn't use the 2nd story balcony because it was unsafe and moved when we walked on it. Need a blender. 18 guests and not enough towels for the week at all. Other than the few little things, the bay was great for littles. The beach with waves (Virginia Beach) is an hour drive, and you have to pay tunnel tolls everytime. 14$ during the week and 18$ on weekends. That would have been nice to know... but we did enjoy the stay. Quiet town. Great ice cream and brewery was a bonus.
