Stayed Oct 6, 2025Perfect location! Love being that close to the beach. Was even comfortable enough to let my kids stay on the beach while I ran to the house to grab something. We absolutely loved all the games that were set up on the bottom floor and with all the beach toys and chairs there for us to use.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025This beach house was wonderful for our family of 14 plus 1 fur baby. We had the best time and really enjoyed all the extras amenities that David provides with the house. The game room under the house was an added bonus, we had so much fun down there. You can’t beat the view and the private beach is great!! David is really nice and very helpful and a great host. Thank you David for all your help and your interest in our family having a great time. I definately would recommend this beach house to anyone looking for the perfect house for a large group. We will be back!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025We had a great stay at this beach house. The location is unbeatable—right on the ocean with a beautiful, secluded view and easy access to a quiet, uncrowded beach. The house is well-equipped, featuring two full kitchens and a fantastic porch that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean breeze. The host was responsive and helpful—when we had a minor HVAC issue, they had the refrigerant refilled promptly with no hassle. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable getaway spot.

Stayed May 17, 2025We fell in love with this place!! Located directly on the beach, navigating back and forth was super easy! The owners of this house have really gone the extra mile to provide all the “little things” we might have wanted during our stay. The coffee bar was nicely stocked, as well as all the kitchen things we might need. There were ample beds and plenty of space for our large adult party of 15. The deck furniture on the back porch, as well as the built in counter, made morning coffee and dolphin watching something we all enjoyed. This house was very clean and clearly well kept. We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home!

It's completely furnished to cover your needs once you've hit the grocery store and is as comfortable as the photos.The communication with the property manager/owner throughout was wonderful. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house.The views are fabulous from the deck and the beach is just steps away. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed Oct 19, 2024100% going to stay here again. The host is informative and easy to contact. The property is well kept and clean. It is beautifully decorated. Every room has a sound machine and extra blankets. We had 9 adults. Everyone found the mattresses very comfortable. 2 separate fully equipped kitchens was a game changer for people who love to cook a lot. The extra fridge space meant we could store drinks inside one fridge and food in the other. We had a minor issue with the Roku televisions when we first checked in. I messaged the owner and had a reply/resolution in minutes.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This was a fantastic place to stay. The house comfortably accommodated our group of 12 adults, with room for more. Location is far enough from Gulf Shores making it a peaceful getaway, but still had plenty to do around the area. The house is well furnished, as described. The beach accessories, games, and equipment are a great feature. Owner was exceptionally responsive and helpful when a storm caused an internet outage.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024Sixteen adults, ages 21 to 81, and a baby enjoyed this great house for a week. Weather wasnt perfect so we made use of inside games, arcade, and game area underneath the house quite a bit. We also made use of both kitchens extensively since we prepared and ate most of our meals together. We enjoyed a nearly private beach to spread out and fish. It was a great property, host, and experience for our group.

We have stayed at many homes and condos in this area, and we all agreed that this was the best beach location of all. So private and peaceful. The many amenities that were included with this property were wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family of 16 stayed at Take Me Awave the first week of June. We had an amazing time! Plenty of space for all. We loved the private beach area - no crowds to worry about. The 2 back decks/porches were a plus. We sat outside from sun up to sun down. Great location. Plenty of bedding and towels provided. Loved the coffee bar!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice Beach House on a very private beach! We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere this house provides. We appreciated the 2 well equipped kitchens. Our group (20-25 yr old) really enjoyed the beach chairs and games provided. We had 18 adults and the home provided space for everyone. We loved playing all the board games in the living room provided. Owners were quick to communicate if we had questions. Thanks for a great week!
