It’s the perfect beach house with a quiet location and walking distance to everything.

The house is just as it is in the pictures. The home is very clean, close to beach and attractions and it had everything we needed during our stay . Cindy was extremely helpful in answering our questions about the area before we arrived . Such a great family vacation!!

Perfect house and location!

My first time using Home Away and we really scored a gem. The location was perfect. Far enough to not have to deal with the crowds on the pier or the noise but close enough to never need my car for anything. The owners were nothing short of terrific. From providing some last minute items to shipping things back that we forgot to bring home. The outdoor shower was actually a fun treat. Everyone had a great time and would definitely book again. Not sure if I just missed the switch but the deck could use some lighting for night time grilling :)

My family and I arrived to this rental home and couldn't have been more pleased. The home was clean and spacious. It is set in an ideal location, only a 5 minute walk from the beach, which was perfect given that we were vacationing with my 1 year old granddaugher. I would recommend this property to anyone.

I hesitate to give this vacation destination a good review for fear that more people will discover it and decrease the odds of my own family having access when we would like. That said I have to be honest and say that this is an amazing summer beach vacation destination, especially for families with children. This house (too large to call a cottage) has the best of both worlds. For the kids you have the beach during the days and the very lively and kid friendly boardwalk for the evenings. My son and his cousins were never bored with all that OOB has going on. Now here’s the great part for the parents, while the house is a very short and easy walk to the boardwalk, it’s just far enough away and in such a nice little quiet neighborhood that you can truly relax when at “home”. The cottage itself is extremely clean and comfortable. There’s A/C for the hot days and plenty of windows to take advantage of those nice evening ocean breezes. And if it rains (it rained once during the two weeks we spent) the owners have all kinds of games to keep a family entertained. Oh, and there’s even a nicely landscaped yard for the kids to play in while at home. We also like the ability to take advantage of the grill and full kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinners, unexpectedly saving us a ton of money by not having to go out for meals. This cottage is a perfect OOB getaway. -Mike
