Stayed Apr 10, 2025I booked this trip in May of 2024, almost a year in advance. The listing is “Entire home, Uptown-Quiet Charming Central Historic Bungalow” Vinoy Park a 17 minute walk. We were attending a festival at Vinoy Park. The walk is not even close to 17 minutes.A few days before arrival, I was checking the reservation to verify the address. The listing now says “Quaint historic Upstairs Apartment in downtown St Pete”I immediately questioned the change in listing. I was told I was mistaken. However, I printed the page when I booked. I was not mistaken. While the property was just “OK” for an old house, it was not what I booked. There was also steep stairs to enter the “quaint apartment”. I have a bad knee. I would never have booked an apartment that could only be entered through a steep, narrow stairway. This should absolutely be noted on the property detail. We are two upper middle class couples that travel frequently and we would not have booked this listing if the property was honestly described.

Stayed Mar 4, 2025This apartment was ideal for us. In downtown St Pete it is near the pier and near my sister in old Northeast. Crescent Lake is a short walk. The weather was beautiful and our stay was terrific. The easy access off of 275 made it essy to get there and out to the beach.

Stayed Jul 9, 2024We had two couples stay at the home. The house location is close to everything. We were there for two games, so we were out most of the time. There are a couple of issues that should be addressed, but not anything that should keep people from renting. The Host was very responsive and we have no complaints. I know those issues will be fixed soon.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024Our stay was great. The house is super cool and in a great location. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need from towels to coffee ?. Parking was a bit tricky but once we parked we didn’t move our car the whole time (4 days) we got around by the VEO electric bikes, which had a spot very close to the house. We will definitely be back.

Stayed Feb 21, 2024The listing claimed the apartment slept 7. This was not the case. There were 3 queen beds and a crib. While only 5 of us (including a 12 year old boy and 15 year old girl), we still needed to use the tattered sectional as a bed. The apartment was not well maintained. The windows and screens were filthy and at least a couple of the window sashes were broken. Opening those windows that worked exposed you to window wells that were filled with dirt and soot. I can only assume that the vents and filters in the heating/cooling system were no cleaner. A couple of days before our arrival, we were notified that there was a roof leak that damaged the ceiling in the living room. While we could live with that, we had to deal with a management agent coming to the apartment with contractors trying to gain entry to look at the ceiling damage. At the time, the two grandchildren were at the apartment and the adults were running errands. Despite not speaking to us beforehand, they came to the apartment anyways and one of the contractors went so far as to climb on to the roof to look in the window to see the damage. Inexcusable behavior.

Stayed Nov 18, 2023We only stayed late Saturday through Monday morning. One full day in downtown St. Pete on Sunday. Overall the unit and property was very comfortable. Easy check in process, the beds were comfortable for me and my husband, and the room was nice and dark for sleeping in. It is historic home, so lots of floor and door creeks, but otherwise nicely updated and decorated. The backyard was a nice safe spot to relax. We had no issues parking in front of the home and we did walk 15-20min for things to do. We did not have any urgent issues that needed the hosts help, but otherwise the communication was good. Having a 2.5yr old with us, we found Paul’s Landing at The Vinoy for breakfast, The Hangar at the airport for lunch (a quick 7min drive), the Green Bench for afternoon drinks so our son could run around, and Fresco’s for dinner on the water were all great kid friendly for our family. Breakfast at Flatbread and Butter was close walk nearby.

Stayed Feb 3, 2023Beautiful property in historic uptown St Pete within walking distance of some great little restaurants and destinations. This was the perfect quiet neighborhood for our groomsmen to stay at. Rooms were great, loved the rear backyard area for photos. Excellent communication. Thank you so much! Highly recommend
