All around a great experience! The property had plenty of space, comfy living areas and beds, a gorgeous spot on the lake with plenty of amenities to enjoy, well stocked with extras too! I am typically an over packer and am super prepared with “all the things”. This trip I didn’t prepare nearly as much as I typically do and thankfully I didn’t need to because the property had it all. It was very well stocked and thoughtfully planned out to make sure everyone had a smooth, fun trip! We had a wonderful time and would love to return to the FamiLee Lake House for future trips to the lake!

This lake home is exceptional in comfort, location, and total relaxation. It is a lovely, welcoming home and the owner has thoughtfully furnished it with everything you could ever need plus extra amenities, like a s’mores bar for the firepit, soaps and lotions, well stocked kitchen, a hot tub steps from the lake, seating everywhere with views of the lake, and pet friendly, including a crate, fenced in yard, food bowls, and dog toys. This lovely home exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

The host was absolutely wonderful! We had to reschedule due to a winter storm and they could not have been kinder working with us to change the plans. This home was fantastic, everything you could possibly need was accessible and we felt completely at home the whole time. Thank you so much to our hosts, we loved it!

We had a great stay at the FamiLee Lake House! The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The access to the lake was perfect, and the fenced yard was ideal for our dogs. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. We’d definitely consider staying here again in the future!

We all loved this place. The house, the back yard and the location were beautiful! The hosts had everything you could possibly need or want. Great communication with hosts. And even a few surprises. The kayaks and floating dock were a big hit! Our dogs had fun too, despite the rain. We all agreed that we want to live there. Thanks for a great experience!

This property was excellent in every way! Clean, plenty of seating and sleeping areas for everyone to be comfortable. Outdoor space is wonderful, lots of seating and activities for all ages. Kitchen had everything that you could need and more, also plenty of towels to include beach towels which was an excellent surprise.Would absolutely stay here a again!

Loved our stay, very nice place, everything you can think of was provided! My only suggestion, would be, to have a covered deck. I only say this, because, it rained a few nights, and we grilled most of our food. We also bought a can opener, and left it for future guests, lol ,other was broken. Great place, great communication! Would definitely book again!

Beautiful and great location. Fully stocked kitchen. Would be hard pressed to find a fault to complain about. Plenty of games for the kids and awesome dock to fish and swim from. One of the best we've visited.

We have stayed at several VRBOs and this is by far the most welcoming and accommodating place we have stayed! The owners were beyond friendly and the home was so welcoming! We visited this lake house for my son’s 11th birthday because he LOVES to fish! We arrived to a sweet birthday card and a little gift for him! It definitely started the weekend off perfectly! The accommodations here were beyond expectations! Anything you could have possibly forgot was provided. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained including kayaking, fishing, hot tub, fire pit with smores and board games! The coffee bar was my favorite :) Our little family definitely made some great memories here and everyone wants to come back. Home away from home. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Was looking to disconnect and slow things down with my family of 5 plus dog. We did just that. The lake was beautiful and peaceful this time of year. We enjoyed canoeing, sitting by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub while star gazing. The beds were very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The kids piled in the 3rd bed with double bunks. Our dog had the time of his life with the fenced in yard, doggie pen, and was obsessed with the doggie toy basket. We stay at rentals for every vacation and I have never stayed at a house that literal had everything we needed. From all the extras in the bathrooms to every kitchen supply we could possibly need. I know it might sound petty but to find zip lock bags or Saran wrap in the kitchen made my day. There was plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, garbage bags. Etc. we never ran out of anything which was a good thing cause the closest grocery store was 30 minutes away. We enjoyed family game night with all the games they had and I did 2 puzzles! The hosts were great. We had a couple issues that were nothing they could have controlled and they were quick to resolve. The neighborhood was peaceful and our trip was perfect.

Highly recommend this property. Beautiful home with so much to do. We will definitely be back.

If I could give more than a 5 star review on this property I would. The small details the owners do to make your stay the best are simply amazing. From the Forgot Something box to the full stocked coffee bar, the little bags of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in both bathrooms; you name it.. they had it. Then there is the outside. The view was amazing, the dock we fished off, the bonfire area. Everything was just perfect. We were visiting for parents weekend at GCSU and we had the best time. The stay was so perfect we are looking at dates to come back and not have to leave the property. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

Very nice remodel of this home, tons of charm. Had everything we needed for both us and our dogs. Very accommodating hosts, and they even left us a nice card and a gift for our 20th wedding anniversary (totally unexpected and greatly appreciated!). Convenient by boat to a lot of different places on the water, Goat island, Aubri Lanes, Dukes, Sinclair Marina, etc are all just a short boat ride. Great dock for watching sunsets and fishing, awesome hot tub, I could go on and on. Absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back!

My wife and I were impressed by the detailed attention to the amenities including anything a pet might need.

It was nice place well kept the family had a good time fishing and swimming. Very quite area for just relaxing and having some fun

We had the absolute best time at the Familee Lakeside Retreat! The house was very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully! It has all of the necessities. The kids loved the kayaks and all of the water toys provided! We will absolutely be back!
