Fallbrook’s guest-pool house : An old Hollywood stars escape

The property was beautiful and had a quaint charm. It is a fantastic plce to escape to.

If you are looking for privacy this is not the place for you. In addition; First day I found an scorpion alive in the kitchen. Later I found a black female panties in the main room. The remote to turn on the TV room light did not work. The second day there was a plumbing problem, the shower water was not draining. After seven days at this property I never met Nancy the host.

The property was incredible! The views of the valley & mountains were stunning. The pool house was so cozy & had everything we could possibly need. Carrie and John couldn’t have been better hosts. They were beyond gracious & genuinely wanted you feel at home. It was such a peaceful property with abundant hummingbirds and natural beauty. We can’t say enough good things about our stay.We would definitely love to find a reason to go back, if even just to see Koa our favorite Whoodle again.

The neighborhood and views are excellent and the rental was clean however this is not a private pool and you could be sharing it with whomever is staying at the main home. This was not disclosed in the listing. In our case it was the hosts family members kids (listing says kids are not allowed). Also not disclosed is a video camera covering the pool area and another gentleman lives behind one of the garages. The rental is a little long in the tooth, throw rugs are dirty, couch is badly stained, towel covering burn marks in a chair, and we found the washer and dryer had old clothes in them so we couldn’t use them. There is a small propane grill but no metal utensils and the largest frypan was 8” so bring your own or it’s one pancake at a time. Our opinion is the host lives elsewhere and doesn’t seem to be very interested in this rental. Sorry to say.

Me and my partner wanted to get away and this was the perfect spot. We loved the pool/hottub. The amazing views and nature. The pool house was clean and cute. Had everything we needed really. Thanks again!

Place and neighborhood was great only issue i had was the the spa didnt warm up otherwise had a amazing time there should don't visiting this place and area again

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and had such a nice time! The place was very clean and Carrie was a great host. We LOVED the beautiful view from the backyard and enjoyed each morning with a cup of coffee on the rocking chairs. Thank you for a relaxing weekend away!

Although we did not do any cooking at the facility, the kitchen was adequate. The pool/jacuzzi was amazing. It was really peaceful at night and you could hear the coyotes singing at night. There is an air conditioner in the living room, but it does not reach into the bedroom and the ceiling fan just did not cool the room enough. Even a pedestal fan would have been great to have. Otherwise, we truely enjoyed our stay.

The pool house is warm, inviting and so, so charming! It was the perfect place for my getaay. Quiet and serene. Will definitely go back. Thank yiu Varroe!

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay. Great communication with Carrie. Easy check in . Actually rented the pool house ( charming) on a beautiful property. Giant pool with jacuzzi. Beautiful views situated in an exclusive neighborhood. Will definitely return

First of all, Carrie was a great host. I was in town for a wedding in Escondido and this location was perfect for my event. The Hollywood Pool House was amazing, the little house awesome and the huge pool made my day. My girlfriend really liked how comfortable and cute it was. My husband and I drove our son’s car from Tennessee to Camp Pendleton (40 minutes away) wanted a relaxing spot for us and our son to chill and spend time together before flying back home. The home was very cute and the courtyard was beautiful. It was too cool to use the pool/hot tub, but the pool/hot tub was very clean. Susan was very quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and hopefully can save in my VRBO favorite for future stays.
