Stayed Sep 26, 2025What a fantastic stay! We had the pleasure of staying at the Airplane Hideaway for a few days. It was our first time in California and we fell in love with it and the area. Our hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything for our stay. The owners attention to detail at this VRBO is spot on. We loved the whole Airplane vibe. It was definitely a stay to remember.

Stayed Apr 2, 2025Our family of three had an incredible experience staying at this unique tranquil site with amazing mountain views. Thank you to Carrie and Bob for being awesome hosts and for sharing their amazing home with us. The details and airplane theme are on point. And the welcoming wine is definitely a nice touch. Would love to return here! We also had a nice time exploring the nearby bridge and pond. We could hear the sounds of frogs at night. There are a couple of kayaks available to use but we decided to skip them. I would also highly encourage your party to check out the yurt nearby if you decided to go with another couple or small family. I like the open concept of combining the bar, kitchen and family room. It has everything you’ll need to stay off-grid. Plenty of photo-ops! My kiddo and I love, love to climb into the army truck and plane (which is easily accessible from inside of the cave/house). This place beats going to Legoland! There are also other hikes in the area or wineries that you could also check out.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025Don’t miss your opportunity to stay in this truly unique and amazing space. Enjoy your morning coffee in nature with fabulous mountain views and have a sunset cocktail in an airplane converted into a bar. The space is impeccably designed and the details are on point. A super comfortable retreat setting. And not far to hiking and Temecula wineries. Highly recommend!
