Very specific on instructions so had no problems when arriving and checking in. The place was nice and spacious but we did notice that it could have been cleaner. There was dust and dirt throughout the house and the bottom downstairs could use a good vacuum. They did warn us in the instructions about hot water use. Sure enough we did run out of hot water quicker than expected the first night and unfortunately some did take cold showers. Another issue was that we could never make the upstairs fireplace work, the downstairs did work but we spent more time upstairs. The views were very nice and the children did enjoy sledding in the backyard.
We had a great stay. There were a few minor issues, but nothing to prevent from not staying there again. Jason was very nice and easy to work with.
Awesome home for a family! Great setup with plenty of space and amenities, games, foosball and ping pong table, etc. Location was convenient, private, and quiet!
This home is perfect for families. Tons of space, lots of things to do including ping pong table, foosball table, and air hockey, and a great basement for hanging out! Location was quiet and private, and close to good hiking trails and the town of Fairplay.
This property was a great quiet stay with a fabulous view. Great space - allowed everyone to have room together or separately. Very clean and well taken care of...our host Jason very nice and great to work with in all aspects of our stay. Nice proximity to Alma and Fairplay area. We plan to make this an annual trip.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We are a group of 9 adults, 1 teenager, 2 kiddos, and 2 dogs. This house had plenty of space for all of us. The drive was not far at all from Fairplay and fishing in various rivers. The home was clean and had many amenities that we enjoyed. The view of the mountains in the South Park area were spectacular! Communication with host Jason was great! Any questions I had, he answered quickly. We have stayed in many rental homes over our travels and we would definitely stay here again.
This was a great place to stay, affordable, fit our needs and excellent service from staff. Really enjoyed the area and views.
Was so quiet and peacefull!
I wouldn't recommend this property because it was very outdated and in need of lots of repair. Was not clean or well kept
This was our first time in Colorado especially in the mountains. The view was beautiful and we even got to see the snow fall. Only issue we had was altitude sickness. Which we had to cut it short for out trip. However the people in town were very polite. I do recommend snow chains in the winter as it will be needed. The house had plenty of space and when working the fireplace don’t forget to turn it on from the bottom or it won’t get warm. Also with a lot of people take turns with the hot water. The owners were very helpful in finding items we left behind and is very kind to return it to us. The drive is out of the way from the resorts about 1 hour away. If you don’t mind it then this is your place. I do recommend staying.
