Stayed May 12, 2024Walking distance to museums, dining, Whole Foods and many other important places. 4 bedrooms with queen size beds, and one with a crib. Responsive owner and quickly helps with issues. Lots of air fresheners were in place to mask the musty smell of the house.

Stayed Nov 18, 2022This home is in a great location! It was easy to catch a bus or walk to most places. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, but could use dishwasher detergent and coffee filters.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022We enjoyed our stay here. It was big enough for the 8 of us to have plenty of space, and allowed us easy walking to the museums and sights. It's an older place, so don't expect everything to be perfect and new, but it is clean and in a neighborhood where we all felt safe. The hosts were good to work with and responsive. The street parking is very tight (no surprise, the listing mentions it) and this street in particular is very narrow, so dont expect to drive a large SUV or truck right to the front door. We were able to park a block away and had no issues.

Stayed May 25, 2022Refrigerator was not working properly, needed to put cold foods in freezer. Owner quickly supplied mini frig, There was one couch that sat 3 people that was old and dirty. We sat on hard plastic chairs- carpet in basement dirty, trash bags in back of house piled up, garbage disposal didn’t work, towel rack coming off of wall. Worst rental ever experienced- felt like college days…

Stayed Aug 12, 2021It was great for our family to be together in PA. So close to sites. Parking is crazy but we always felt safe. Lots of ”character “ in the area. We’re from a 1 stoplight town. We knew we weren’t in Kansas anymore ?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice property in a great location on a cute street in Fairmount. The property was comfortable and included all the basics. We enjoyed being able to walk to coffee shops, deli and restaurants and other sites were just an uber ride away.

Stayed Dec 7, 2018We really enjoyed the neighborhood and proximity to things downtown. The home itself has a few issues. Ground floor is nice, basement is subpar. Upstairs is ok although it took a long time to get it warm. We had 5 people and we ended up never eating at the property, but with 3/4 bedrooms you would expect plates, dishes, bowls, glassware for at least 6 people. However, there were only 4 of these items. Actually there was no glassware - just 2 wine glasses. There were 6 - 8 coffee mugs and that was it. It advertises basic cable but we could never get it to work and there were no instructions. The Roku was nice, but if it had Chromecast we could at least cast our Netflix, HBO, etc from our phones - just a suggestion in case visitors can't get the cable to work.
