Fabulous views on nice cove! Easy short walk to dock. Outdoor kitchen & fire pit

This was our second time booking here. It was just as great of a long weekend as the first. House was slightly updated since 4 years ago, clean, peaceful, well equipped, and in a wonderful part of the lake for fishing. Joni’s communication is excellent too!

We came to Lake Lanier for a fishing spring break. The boat dock was awesome! The owners had just put in a new outlet near the dock which made charging our boat batteries at night very easy. We enjoyed sitting on the upper level of the boat dock, taking in the view. The house was really nice! Absolutely loved the completely empty pantry so we had somewhere for our food. So often rentals leave you no cabinet space to put food, so that was very nice. The bedrooms were big and nice and all the bathrooms were really nice too. It was very easy to get comfortable and feel like a home away from home. The owners were very nice and enjoyed meeting them when we arrived.

This is a lovely home that is well-kept and well-equipped. The host could not have been more responsive. Our family group of 5 all agreed we hope to come back!

Inside layout was perfect for the seven of us. Outdoor grill area and fire pit were amazing. Nice quiet location in the lake! Host was wonderful and helped us with firewood.

Joni is very prompt responding to questions. The home is a great space. We had 9 family members ages 8-88. The house has such great views of the lake and great outdoor spaces to enjoy the lake. Outside grill was handy. Stores are conveniently close by for anything you might need. Kitchen is spacious and you get to enjoy the views while working. The family is in agreement we want to plan a spring trip. We made good memories on our visit.

Great lake house for any getaway.

Great place for a family vacation. The house was very clean and has a nice yard that leads right to the lake. Has easy access to the property and is close to shops and restaurants.

Wow! We stayed here with family from out of town and it was perfect! The house is a perfect floor plan, clean and assessable to any and everything you need. The host communicated so well. You will love staying here!

Beautiful and peaceful home....kitchen pretty well stocked but i brought my supplies as well as we are all foodies! The outdoor space is wonderful for eating and grilling. We all loved it and will be back!

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location

We rented the house the week of July 4th. The house was great and Joni was great to work with. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

This home worked perfect for our group. Total of nine occupants. Six adults, three children under six. The location gives you that remote lake atmosphere but if a grocery run, shopping, or wanting to eat out is desired, your within ten minutes of about anything.

Awesome views of the lake. We docked a boat easily and enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space! The host was very responsive. We highly recommend and would definitely return.

We were in Gainesville for our daughter's wedding, and decided to rent this house with our friends. This is a great house with everything that we needed. The area is quiet, the dock is great, and the view of the lake is outstanding.

It is not easy to find places on lake Lanier like this one that has such easy gently sloping and close access to the dock. And a great view! It was also a wonderful lake cove location, pretty and calm and quiet. We never saw another neighbor. The house is laid out well and very conducive to visiting without feeling like you’re on top of each other.

Great location right on the lake! House was very accommodating, but could have used a bit more cleaning and spider web removal. Other than that, my folks had a great time celebrating a family milestone. I would use this location again.

A wonderful spacious floorplan, on an almost level lot. We caught lots of fish off the dock, and enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and grill. Property manager was helpful and attentive to any question. Would definitely return!

Spent a long weekend at this beautiful lake house. Location was perfect and home was well cared for and comfortable.

We were so happy when we found this home. On the lake, with a dock, and a nice easy slope down to the lake. This is rare as most of them have very steep lake access. It is in a beautiful cove that is just the right size. Not to small and not too big. It is on Flat Creek which is one of the better fishing areas, and the cove is deep out in the middle. Very nice area - quiet and surrounded by woods. We saw deer, squirrels, birds, ducks, geese. The only disappointment on our visit was that we didn't see any fish, LOL. We fished really hard from the dock but conditions were not good for fishing. There is a large fire pit and outdoor kitchen with lots of seating around. The house has an upper deck and lower patio also with great seating. Despite the cold weather we spent much family time outside.We loved the layout of the home. On the main (lower) level is a King bedroom with private bath, plus the kitchen, dining, living areas, laundry room. Perfect for our older couple as they had no stairs to deal with. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms. One with private bath. The two other bedrooms share a bath. There is also an upstairs den where the family enjoyed games. We were there over NY. We had family in from TX and this home was perfect for us locals to spend time with them. We had our traditional NY southern meal at the dining table which seats 10. This table was also great for family card games.Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and more.

Joni was a wonderful host and communicated appropriately before and during our 4-night stay. The property suited our family’s needs (a long list) very well. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was perfect for our girls’s weekend - there were 9 of us and we had plenty of bed and bathroom space. The view of the lake was lovely - enjoyed sitting on the dock in the mornings and afternoons - very quiet section of the lake. Saw 3 deer on the property one morning. Very well stocked kitchen - five stars!

The property was clean and quiet. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking my morning coffee viewing the lake and listening to and watching the wildlife. Enough room for our family of four generations staying there. Communications with property owner was very good.

The house was one of the cleanest VRBO homes I have ever stayed at. The house was terrific with a terrific view. The manager was extremely easy to contact and made sure everything went well.

Great location and house on the lake! Easy to rent a boat or bring your own. We enjoyed our stay! Kitchen well stocked too.

Day 1 was not good in that we were told we could check in at 2 pm, but shortly after the landlord/realtor arrived to come inside and take pics of broken shades. Then the lawncare crew arrives. Extremely loud and asking my parents to go inside so they can blow the grass they are edging around the property. This should have all been done prior to our arrival. I then had to clean a pile of trash off the shoreline, busted floats, alcohol bottles, a tampon....gross. We informed the realtor to be sure the grill was fiull of gas, it was, but it hadnt been cleaned in years, it took us an hour to take it apart and clean it before we could light it and then when we tried the stove inside there was no propane. The stove didnt work at all. The next morning we called the renter and they said they were aware the propane was low & switched the reserve tank on for us. That also should have all been done before arrival. Last thing we did not care for was that the renter said they own the house next door and it was vacant so her family decided to stay there & it truly felt as if we were being babysat on our vacation that we spent a lot of money for. The property is beautiful and this cove & dock are perfect for a great time on the lake. The following days were very enjoyable and I would recommend renting this gorgeous property, I would just ask the rentor to have these things managed better and ensure the rentee does not have all of these frustrations on day 1. arrival. s e

This property is well maintained and the very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The view is amazing and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. It was an unforgettable week for celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday! We hope to make it an annual tradition.
