Fabulous Indian Rocks Beach Pool Home

There is a significant ant problem in the kitchen that the owner was aware of before we stayed there. They put ant traps above the window sill (hidden from plain sight) before we came. This was to curb the ant situation, but it didn't help at all. There was no sugar in the house for this reason as well. The minute you put food out on the counter, ants swarmed. Another renter was coming the day that we checked out, and they were going to face the same problem. The management tried to address it, but they knew the problem existed before we came. The same situation will face the renters after us. No accommodations were offered for the inconvenience. Cooking while ants are swarming in and around the stove and counters is unappealing at best. I wouldn't have chosen this rental for this reason.

Very well appointed. Plenty of towels, pillows, kitchenware, pool toys, beach chairs. Nice little details like small shampoo and conditioner bottles just in case you forgot. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a great stay. We came with 3 kids, ages 5-10, and it was the perfect relaxing family vacation. The house was comfortable and spacious enough, pool was amazing, and beach was walking distance. Everything was clean and as described. Thank you and hope to visit again!

The positives; house was fairly clean, neighborhood congested but quiet. Owner did respond quickly when tv volumn did not work.Could be better: upstairs smelled musty? Damage from the recent storms, the bricks around the pool at the far end were allloose and wobbly. Dangerous. The upstairs deck had no furniture to sit on and had the best view. No real glasses, all plastic. Termites became active. Pots and pans needed replacement, teflon pealing.. Many cameras outside, understand the need but felt uncomfortable. No fans in the bathrooms, hard to dry off in the steam. Had to buy mats for the tub and shower as they got very slippery. Had to buy a frying pan we could use and sponges with scrubbers. Only one dish towel. Only a couple of small samples of shampoo, not a big deal but for one of the most expensive stays to date was a little annoying. Neighbors are still getting repairs from the storm, A LOT of construction vehicles and repair work in the neighborhood.

The house was perfect and clean for our girls trip. Great location- near the beach and a couple beach bars and restaurants. We didn’t need a car but parking was available! It was nice to have beach chairs and a wagon available, too! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location. Close to beach and a great playground. Our family planned to cook at the house and our only suggestion would be to expand the items available in the kitchen, dish clothes, Tupperware, etc. Thanks for a great stay!!!

The accommodation was decorated to a very high standard and was exactly as advertised. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to Cocos, which was a lovely place to visit for food and drinks. There was plenty of room for the group of 7, with lots of amenities within the house, and lots of space. As a suggested improvement we would suggest adding some more sunbeds, as we had to keep taking turns, plus a toilet on the bottom floor would be a great addition. However we loved our stay, and if we ever stay in the area again we would definitely stay in this house again. Lawrence was a great host, and kept in touch every day.

Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations. Everything made simple! Impeccable cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals together, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. The location allowed us to walk on,the beach every morning. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a wonderful home away from home!

Our group of 10 (6 adults/4 kids) had a wonderful stay in Indian Rocks Beach. From the time of booking the communication with the owner was top notch. Lawerence provides a great virtual guide book with all the necessary house info and great recommendations for restaurants and activities! The house was very well stocked, lots of beach towels, bath towels, and start up supplies. Plenty of dishes, silver, glasses, and kitchen supplies. The decor was very well done, fun and beachy while still being kid friendly. The furniture was very comfortable, the beds were great, and the bedding was immaculate. There were extra bed pillows, blankets for the couches, which many places do not provide. The main floor covered deck was a great break from the sun, while still being able to be engaged with the people at the pool. The third floor deck had beautiful views. The pool area was perfect, full sun from 10am till evening with shaded sitting areas for those that wanted it. Plenty of lounges and Adirondack chairs for our group. The grill worked well and was clean. There were several pool floats, 6 beach chairs, a beach wagon, and boogie boards. It’s a quick walk to the park, beach, and a couple of restaurants. The depth of cleaning between guests was evident, there was no dust, dirt, or sand anywhere (even under the beds) on our arrival. We were so pleased with everything from beginning to end. We highly recommend booking this home and with Lawerence. We will absolutely be back!
