This amazing home features access to the Chamberlands HOA for summer use of the private beach, lakefront Olympic size swimming pool, and tennis courts for absolutely no additional fee! Free Shuttle service is also provided in the summer months for access to the pool and beach from directly in front of the house. The yard is fenced for your family dog, the kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counters, the downstairs family room has a 50" flat screen TV with a Bose stereo surround system. Just a mile from Homewood Ski Resort, and less than 1/2 mile to the beach, this home is spectacular! Complete remodel has been done, amazing master suite with a new king size bed and private bath, and very comfortable deck for morning cups of coffee or afternoon barbecues. Amazing! Exterior Camera Disclosure: This home has 2 outdoor cameras, 1 looks down the driveway towards the front street, and 1 looks down at the pedestrian door to the garage.
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st

Close to Homewood ski resort, quiet and safe neighborhood, clean and of high quality. We only wish for a curtain in the window above the master bed to block all the morning light.

Great accommodations. It’s further up the hill than we expected, but it’s a quick drive or pleasant walk to most destinations.
We had a really great stay at this location. Our favorite thing was the patio off the main living space.
We decided with 3 days notice that we wanted to go to the snow and found this listing. We booked it on a whim and we were so delighted upon arrival. Our plan was to stay in, be cozy and do some sledding during the day. The house was beautiful, spacious, and really felt like a dream while we were there. The kitchen was equipt with everything needed to cook full meals throughout the day. The hot tub was definitely a perk in the evenings when we were ready to relax. We brought our fur baby and the house had a bunch of little extras for the dog as well. I would absolutely book this house again. It was awesome being able to stay in the neighborhood to take the kids sledding. The house even provided discs for our stay. We loved our time at this house.
We had a wonderful 5 day stay. The Christmas tree was a really nice surprise that made our arrival feel magical. After being outside, the kids loves turning on the fireplace with the flip of a switch. With only 4 of us, we had more than enough space to spread out. This home had all the extras that you wonder about when you rent - eg, cooking tools, extra towels, comfy beds with lots of pillows and extra blankets, saucer sleds for the kids to borrow. For us this location can’t be beat - a few minutes drive to Sugar Pine Point Beach which was spectacularly gorgeous. Our only minor nitpick would be the AV in the upstairs could use an update. And be aware there are a lot of stairs to navigate in this home (not a problem for us but may be a consideration for some guests). We hope to stay again at this beautiful home.

The West Shore location gives access to great hiking and biking, some great restaurant options with outdoor seating, and views of the prettiest areas of Lake Tahoe. The management company is proactive and communicative. Check in and check out process was easy, though you do have to pick up the keys, garage remote & Chambers Landing beach access card in Tahoe City before going to the home. The beach club access plus pool and tennis are great additions to activity options. The home is clean and accurately advertised. The wi-fi works best in the 2nd floor living room and is spotty in other areas of the house. Only the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Our tweens liked the bunk bed. We loved the deck just off the kitchen/dining room and ate dinner outside every evening. The BBQ’s middle burner had to be lighted manually but worked fine once lit. The enclosed backyard is quite nice for morning coffee. Note the sprinklers turn on mid morning. There is a sign on the fire pit that was too faded to read - but the sign plus the piled up rocks inside seemed to suggest it was not for use. But given the dry weather and current local fire risk, we did not use the fire pit. The nearby bike path to Tahoe City and motorboat rentals at Homewood close by made our vacation adventures complete.
