This thoughtfully furnished and accessorized, air conditioned, 1 story, step free home has everything you need and more. It is fully equipped for your comfort and convenience, down to the water bowl for your dogs.

If you are looking for a one-story home, and a garage for your car with storage, for at least 31 days, this home will provide stability, serenity, and sensational views. I am an artist, interior designer, and real estate broker, and have created a turnkey, exquisitely decorated and fully stocked home for your comfort and convenience.

Please note about pricing and discounts: The competitive daily rate on this home is lower than most other 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, view homes (mine comes with paid housekeeping service). The long term discount (31 days) is already built into the price, as there is a 31 day minimum and no short term option. Each month is priced at the lowest seasonal rate compared to other comparable homes, and is not increased or decreased for individual holidays, weekends, or length of stay. Please keep in mind the rate is separate from the fees that this website charges, which I have no control over. When you compare the amenities, astounding view, and location with other neighborhoods in Oceanside, this home is priced so no other house can compare. My desire is to keep this home booked full time, and low pricing accomplishes this goal.

The views are gorgeous! The weather is outstanding. The beds, pillows and sheets are new and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and condiment. The patio is for lounging or eating, and the kids can play on the artificial turf in the patio area, or in the quiet cul-de-sac. The many green belts this neighborhood provides, or at the ocean view Buddy Todd Park at the end of the street, gives many options for recreation. Outdoor toys, balls, badminton racquets and a cross terrain bike are provided for play.

There is European style ductless mini-split air conditioner in the main living area and a whole house fan for the house to keep cool. This home is ultra clean, has character, and full of tech! Excellent and my personal long standing housekeeper cleans the home every month for you at no extra charge.

All inclusive; utilities; electric, gas, sewer, cable TV, high speed Internet, water, gardening. monthly housekeeping service. Cox Cable, Netflix, Apple+, Amazon is also provided on the Internet televisions at no additional charge. Comfortable beds for 4 people, and 1 mattress and cot can be used for an extra occasional guest. There are four exterior Ring cameras and an optional interior camera to look after your dogs when you are away with a ring phone app.

This cul-de-sac VIEW HOME IS CLASSY, SERENE, PRIVATE, AND SECLUDED. If you are not familiar with North Coastal San Diego County, this home is conveniently located two miles from the Carlsbad and Oceanside beach, the Oceanside harbor, shopping malls, restaurants and mass transit, the Amtrak, Sprinter, Metrolink, and Coaster trains. The Sprinter train is just two blocks away.

While being close to all the activities the city has to offer, this home is on the top of the hill, so all you hear is nature, birds, and an endless view without the distraction of street noise or cars.

You will be comfortable because all rooms are accessible on one level. You can drive into the two-car garage (remotes included), and within 10 steps, walk straight into your kitchen to drop off your groceries.

INTERIOR IS DECORATED WITH A MODERN FLAIR

The home features Brazilian cherry wood flooring in the living room, dining room, kitchen, master, bathrooms, hall and bonus room located in the second bedroom. The ceilings are smooth and white. There is a living area wall mounted mini split air conditioner, dehumidifier and heater, with a whole house attic fan located near the front door. Sunshades covering every window inside and out, which lets a breeze run through the house to keep it cool.

THE LIVING ROOM

Features a gas fireplace and is great for warm family gatherings. This room is combined with the dining area, all decorated with vivid green, teal, red and blue. A colorful area rug allows you to sit on the floor and keep your fur babies comfortable.

This great room has two picture windows and a expansive 10-foot sliding glass door with a removable doggie door, leading into the south/west facing patio with an unobstructed, back-country view with exceptional sunrises.

In the living room, facing the view, is a teak desk for using your computer. It is equipped with leather swivel office chairs, a wireless modem, printer, office supplies and 4K television.

THE PRIMARY BEDROOM AND BATHROOM

The primary bedroom has a seasonal portable air conditioner. The bedroom window faces the front of the home. The primary bedroom is spacious; measuring 15 by 15 feet and holds a 2024 California King Tempurpedic- type bed, two nightstands, and a cherry wood dresser. It contains a wall-to-wall 14-foot mirrored closet that is double hung and room for his and her clothes and shoe racks. The Samsung LED 4K TV feature all the internet apps; including Netflix, Apple Plus, and Amazon Prime.

This bedroom is adjacent to the vanity/bath area with a private tub and toilet area which is curtained off. The Toto toilet is ADA certified. Both bathrooms feature accessibility bars next to the toilet and in the showers.

THE KITCHEN

Featuring cherry wood floors, the kitchen has an unobstructed backcountry view and is separate from the dining room. The kitchen includes white quartz countertops, excellent appliances; a silent Bosch stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, GE CAFE electric ceramic smooth cooking top with a large lower double oven and cast iron grill. It also has a stainless steel side by side refrigerator with filtered ice and water. Outside, there is a propane BBQ with all the accessories.

The kitchen has recessed LED lighting in a crown molded cove ceiling. The kitchen features a floor to ceiling pantry on one wall, stocked with small appliances, condiments; flour sugar, storage dishes, parchment paper, aluminum foil, baggies, cooking oil, and anything you would need a day to day basis.

There is a Boos rolling butcher block for prepping your food, and all cookware, appliances, air fryer, dishes, glasses, utensils and accessories are included. The kitchen also has a 32 television with streaming service.

The quartz countertop, sink and faucet has been upgraded in 2024 and is very easy to clean. This kitchen is fully equipped for whatever your needs may be. The kitchen has astounding views.

THE SECOND BEDROOM

A lounge area sleeps 2 people, and possibly three people if you urequest the comfy mattress and cot. It is a perfect place to hang out with the family and watch 4K internet TV.

The second bedroom has two separate areas; the main area and an additional 18' dressing/kitchen area featuring a private a sliding door that leads to the patio.

A designer colorful rug covers the taupe carpet for evenings on the floor with your kids. You can lean up against the lounging beds with overstuffed pillows. This second bedroom features 2 memory foam cool gel twin beds in L formation resting on two mid century modern teak daybeds with storage under the mattress. You can use it as a sofa during the day to watch the Samsung streaming TV. Although there is plenty of original art by Wendee on the walls, it is all interchangeable to your art, all resting on ledges, so long-term guests can replace the art with whatever suits your style.

The additional bonus space inside this bedroom has a cherry floor that is set up as a dressing area, featuring clothes cabinets, large mirror and vanity with a bench. A perfect place to do yoga, or you can use this area a child's play zone. Included is a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and cupboard storage so you can wake up in the morning, have your coffee and breakfast without going into the kitchen. Additional clothes rods have been installed to supplement your closet in the main room.

Both the second bedroom and the bonus area have LED track lighting and a seasonal portable air conditioner and ceiling fan to keep you cool.

FENCED-IN PATIO WITH A VIEW OF CARLSBAD

You will be amazed at the view surrounding this home. When you step out on the patio, you know you are on vacation! This is the last home on the block, located in the quiet cul-de-sac. The back of the house has a 2-foot tall fence and a concrete patio covered with outdoor carpeting and artificial turf, which spans the 40 foot length of the home, with four 10-foot umbrellas and 2 sail shades, tables and chairs. Sunbrella Shades are outside each window and can lower down to cover the south facing windows to limit the sun exposure in the home.

The patio is fully furnished with two dining tables and 6 chairs, 3 lounge chairs and side tables. The patio is perfect for BBQing, (BBQ and propane is included) relaxing and watching the sunrise. You will enjoy privacy as you dine on the patio, as there are no neighbors behind you, just nature. With nature comes wild animals, so be sure to look after your pets.

TWO CAR GARAGE WITH 2 CAR MAXIMUM

This home offers a two car attached garage with openers that leads to the kitchen. According to the community rules, your family is limited two non-commercial vehicles, one of which must fit and park in garage and the other may park on the driveway. There is no street parking for residents, but 72 hour guest parking is down the street.

The garage offers a Charge Point EV Charger, large built-in storage cabinets, large attic space with a ladder, and large capacity front loading Samsung washer and gas dryer. It also has a drying and ironing area with iron and board, tools and cleaning supplies. There is a cross terrain bicycle and helmet, 3 boogie boards, 2 sets of flippers, 3 beach chairs, badminton racquets and balls for the kids.

    Where to begin - first I’m not usually one to write reviews but my experience here was exceptional. First of all Wendee is the greatest host! She is super quick to respond and seriously has thought of everything you will need. Her place is spacious and in a very nice quite neighborhood. It’s also perched up on a hill and gets a nice ocean breeze and lots of natural light. The backyard patio is like a little terrace and a very peaceful place to eat or read or just relax with lots of comfortable chairs and shade umbrellas.. Something I did not expect and is a very unique aspect of this place is how awesome and abundant the variety of wildlife there is living on the hillside out back. I mean it is a real treat and special experience to say the least. Almost nightly you can hear the sounds of all the different animals and nature living right in your backyard - but during the day was my favorite part as basically i became friends and head nektar provider for the coolest TRIBE of hummingbirds I’ve ever scene! If you love nature, you will definitely love this added bonus of staying here. I could not have asked for more, and really felt at home for the 4 months we lived there. I hope to go back one day and am sure i will even if only to spend some time with my little friends out back ... lol. Thanks again, Wendee!

    Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hostess has thought of every detail to make our stay pleasurable. The kitchen was completely stocked with all the small appliances, condiments, napkins, paper towels. All we needed was our food. Even the kitchen has a spectacular view. The location in the cup-de-sac was completely quiet. The kids and dog could play safely in the adjoining common area. The view was amazing. We ate out on the patio most evenings and enjoyed the ocean breezes. Plenty of lounge chairs, dining tables and chairs for company. The BBQ was great and was filled with propane. The beds were extremely comfortable, with plenty of extra linens and towels, a television in every room including the kitchen, with Netflix, Hulu, Sling, and cable. The wireless Internet was fast. There were ceiling fans in every room, and an air conditioner in the master bedroom. We used the whole house fan to circulate the air and create a breeze through the house. We were comfortable our entire visit. We were so happy with our hostess, as she answered all our questions promptly. She told us about the large ocean view park at the end of the street, and we took walks with the dog in the park every evening. We used the security system, and connected the provided security cameras and Alexas to our own Amazon account. The neighborhood only had a couple of dozen homes, and was tucked away at the top of the hill. The area is safe and the streets were well lit. Washer and dryer were top-of-the-line and the garage had 2 vacuums, a bike, boogie boards for the beach. We put one car in the garage, and the other in the driveway. We definitely will be staying again next year! Thank you for a great experience. 5 stars all the way!
