Hello! Welcome to this brand new adorable cottage on Lake Brophy in Alexandria, Minnesota. Newly constructed in 2020 with a white/blue coastal chic vibe and nautical décor. Three bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Sleeps nine. In-floor heat through out the main floor means your feet are always warm. Master bedroom has king size bed and en-suite master bathroom with granite vanity countertops, towel warmer, soaking tub and separate tiled shower, and a large walk in closet. The master also includes alarge sliding door out to the lake. Bedrooms upstairs, share a full bath. One bedroom has two built-in full size beds and a free-standing queen bed. Ideal for either children, teens or adults. Second bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of space for a crib or pack ‘n play, and another walk in closet. Upstairs bathroom has tub/shower, vanity, and large linen cabinet.

Kitchen has all brand new Whirlpool appliances, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, range, microwave. All new custom cabinetry with granite counter tops. Surprising deep blue farm-style sink is the focal point of kitchen. Expansive center island with 4 bar stools. Large table in dining area seats 8 and more. Living area has spectacular windows with lake views facing south east with lots of sun and beautiful sunrises. New queen sofa sleeper and loveseat face the gas fireplace, with stone hearth and rustic mantle. Vaulted ceilings with wood beams add to the coastal décor. Large TV above fireplace makes a cozy place to stream your favorite shows and movies. WiFi is included.
One of the best features is the set of walk-out glass doors to the stone patio which includes a brand new gas grill and a heavy wood patio table. You may want to bring a few folding/parade style chairs to sit outside. Flat walk out from the cottage to the lake with only a few steps down to the dock. Easy water access for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, or for small children to splash and have fun in the lake. There is a bench swing to relax in and watch the fishermen on this quiet little lake. Clothesline to dry your swim suit and beach towels.
Main floor incorporates large front loading washer and dryer in laundry room, with utility sink and folding area. Guest 1/2 bath on main floor has vanity sink and easily accessible stool. The cottage also comes equipped with towels, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and Kleenex. Kitchen has coffee maker, toaster, and basic cooking items.
The Alexandria lakes area has much to offer during all four seasons. Lake Brophy County Park is a newly constructed park on the north side, 5 minutes from the cottage. There is a large sandy swimming beach, and a huge playground with new play equipment and zip line, a wheelchair accessible kayak/canoe entry, and a large fishing pier. The central lakes trail is adjoining the park with miles of paved trails for biking, rollerblading, running and walking. The hills also have mountain biking trails. In winter these trails are groomed for snowmobile and cross country skiing. There are sledding hills and an ice skating rink at Brophy Park as well. This is a fabulous place to bring the whole family any time of the year.

This cute cottage on Brophy Shores has a brand new dock as of summer 2022, with an attached bench to enjoy the quiet bay. There is a fire ring and new blue Adirondack chairs to sit around the campfire.
We are conveniently located within walking distance to Brophy Bay Mart which has a gas station, liquor store, and small convenience store with groceries, bait for fishing, newspapers, and ice cream for the kids. You can easily stop by to stock up on forgotten supplies or extra firewood for evening bonfires.

Also, nearby Brophy Resort on the north side of lake offers pontoon and fishing boat rentals.
