I have a lot of really great things to say about this cabin. It is very quaint, the location is great, and the fact that we could have our dogs was AMAZING! Dan is a great host; super communicative and responsive. He is easy going, relaxed and eager to please. The cabin + bunk house is well equipped with everything you need to accommodate a group. It is very much a cabin though. Very rustic and very lake life, which was I thought was a little different than what the pictures/price represented. The space grew on us and we loved it. The neighbors were all VERY friendly. We tried really hard to stay respectful of our noise. We had fires every night (there was soooo much fire wood for us to use), light music and a few adult beverages, we never had one complaint from any neighbor. Bringing our dogs was a huge bonus; we drove up from FL and didn't want to leave our dogs behind for our long vacation. All the neighbor dogs were great too! We met Roxy and Chloe and saw them regularly. The only criticism I can say is I thought it was a bit overpriced for the how rustic the cabin is, but I don't even know if that is fair because of the memories we made and the family time we had. There is a lot of space for everyone to sleep and again HUGE bonus we could have the dogs, so at the end of the vacation we were very very happy!
Being right on the lake with a dock was great!
Great time, caught some nice fish and got to enjoy some of the night life !
This is the quintessential lake cottage. Perfect setting for an unexpected weekend off. We loved watching the boats go by and our dog had the best time splashing in the water
This property had everything we needed for a week of family fun. Great location on Clam lake with good size yard. Main cabin had full kitchen (no dishwasher), 5-person dining room table, ad well as a couple of couches & chairs for indoor seating. The bathroom was good sized & fully stocked with clean towels, toiletries, etc. Main bedroom was on main level & had nice memory foam beds. Room was small but suited our needs. Outside was a nice patio table with seating for 6, a fire pit, plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. The dock shown in the photos is a shared dock & should only be used for fishing & swimming. A 2nd smaller, less sturdy dock is available for parking personal boats. End of dock is in ~3ft of water. We had a 30ft boat + 2 jet skis. We anchored the boat off the end of the small dock & didn't tie to the dock, although used the dock to load/unload boat. We parked the jet skis on shore & tied them off to the dock. Parking the large boat trailer was tight but definitely doable. I think a 34ft boat with a good driver would be about the largest that could make the swing into the driveway. Neighborhood was very nice. We had no issues. Highly recommend.
This was the perfect spot for us to gather with our friends. It’s cozy. Not much privacy for couples, but it is what it is and we had a great time!! The convenience of being able to dock a boat there was key for us. And the location was fantastic!!
The house had everything we needed and wanted, and the location can't be beat. The owner was easy to communicate with, and we will definitely be back. Our trip was two adults, with two kids and a dog, and everyone had a ball.
We rented a boat and the property was perfect location to marina , easy access to everything Plenty of space and Clam lake was beautiful
Had a great stay, everything as expected and pleased with property. The updates to the out building were very nice!
Very relaxing and quiet.Gps got us lost called host and he was very polite considering my attitude and I truly apologized but he immediately took action and got us on right track..Would definitely stay again
