The property is less than 10 mins walk to the beach and sealed path between Pt Lonsdale and Queenscliff. It is exceptionally well equipped, especially the kitchen, with everything you would need for large family gatherings even with wheelchair access and a no step bathroom. The house also has central aircon and heating. The host provided a very welcoming pack of items for Christmas and has put a lot of thought into the house set up, which is quite spacious and comfortable. On the downside, the house faces the main highway and is quite noisy. It also does not have a back garden so the outside eating area depicted in the listing is actually a concreted area at the side of the house at the end of a short driveway facing the highway. There are also three holiday flats right at the back which get access through the main driveway passing two bedrooms of the house so you don’t get any privacy when these flats are occupied because the guests walk by and can see straight in. They also park their cars on the verge in front of the house. So all in all the house does not have a beachside holiday vibe. Despite this we had a good stay and enjoyed what the house had to offer. Queenscliff was more lively and quaint than Pt Lonsdale. Yard 58 in Queenscliff is a really nice cafe in the town centre which has a lovely garden and nursery. We made a big order of seafood from a boat selling fish in the Harbour, but it was disappointing because most of it turned out to be frozen and the oysters were all shucked. We hope there is somewhere else you can find better seafood in the area and we should have done more research before we arrived.

Fantastic house with great roomy kitchen and appliances and very clean. Lovely host who was a great communicator. We had a fabulous time - Luckily the weather was just glorious and the beach which is a short 5 min stroll from the house was stunning ?. Wish the traffic noise wasn’t so loud, the house being on bellarine hwy but it didn’t seem to bother the teenagers - just the light sleeping parents ☺️ Thank you sue - we had the best weekend and will be returning to point Lonsdale again.
