Nice view. Big house. But no heater. It was supper cold. Make sure heater works before having people in.
3.5 but rounded up to 4. Decent home, lots of room, nice neighborhood but there are things that should be updated and adjusted to make it an amazing stay. Ie: the accessibility of the television, enough towels and furniture for a larger group, new pillows in the bedrooms, etc. We left our thoughts in the expanded categories below. Overall we would stay here again but would like to see a few things improved in the future. Nothing that would keep me from recommending this property but I would make other guests aware so they know what they’re entering in to.
We enjoyed our stay at House of Serenity! It accommodated our family well and the bedrooms were nicely spread out so it felt very spacious, yet comfortable and cozy when we gathered together for meals and relaxing. The setting was beautiful, the artwork in the house fun and interesting, & the abundance of parking was also nice.
Big space and very clean!
We had a lovely long weekend. House was clean. Beds were comfortable. I brought a couple of heaters after reading prior reviews and did not need them! It got down to 9 degrees while we stayed and the house was perfectly comfortable. The children played outside in the lovely large yard. They sledded and skied around the orchard. Kitchen had ample pans and bowls for cooking…even a crock pot! Plenty of space for our extended family to enjoy! I would recommend this property and would stay again if in the area with a large group.
The home it self is nice is in a nice location, you can see the mountains all around. Our nightmare was not having the heater in a 20 degree temperature, it took two days to have someone tell us what the problem was. I think is just appropriate to make sure facilities work properly before renting the place.
