Expansive, dog-friendly home with sauna, decks & great location

I had communicated with the management company three separate occasions to confirm that the amenities i.e. fireplace and hot tub were working because previous reviews showed that they were not. I was insured that they would be working. The reason we booked this place was for the amenities as we’re looking forward to gathering around the fire as a family during Thanksgiving. When we arrived, we could not get the hot tub working and there was a note on the fireplaces in fact, both fireplace is saying out of water do not use. I was livid because I had reached out three times and was told these amenities were working. Had I known they were not working? I could’ve made an informed decision about my family‘s vacation. Extremely disappointed. Also, Saturday morning we got up and realized there was no water. It was 7 AM and my wife and I were preparing breakfast for other family members as no one was up yet. Suddenly the water stopped working. I called the management company and they told me that the owner shuts the water off when the occupants are using too much of it. This certainly was not the case as no one was even up yet no one had taken a shower, so we were absolutely flabbergasted to hear this. When my son got up, they attempted to give their 11 month old the bath and we’re not able to do so obviously with no water. We weren’t able to have coffee or wash dishes or the basic necessities. The management company was able to get the water restored several hours later.

House is nice, clean, in an ideal location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, and can accommodate a lot of ppl but this place needs a lot of repairs and some serious attention. Doors lock on the wrong side, which is bizarre and caused an issue for adults to get out of downstairs bedroom during the night. Handles busted off cabinets and doors. Sauna was not in ideal working order for a rental. Hot tub was fantastic but top cover needs repair (arm broken). Extremely strong sewer smell in all the bathrooms - not certain what’s going on there but it’s an issue and very unsettling. Downstairs bedroom had strong odor of cat litter/cat urine, like a litter box had been in the room. Propane stove would not light (and no lighter - to light the stove to be found on property). Oven needs to be cleaned!! Smoked unexpectedly when started - and smelled like there was a fire. Shocked alarms didn’t go off. Owners or rental management company should really spend a night or two in this house to understand all that needs to be fixed. Once repairs are handled - it would be very worth the price to rent.

We enjoyed our stay in Wellfleet. The house was spacious, very clean, and offered nice linens and quiet areas to retreat from the group. While it featured six bedrooms, which we needed, three required access through another bedroom—something to consider for guests seeking more privacy. Clarity in the house description is recommended.A few amenities were not functional: the gas fireplace didn’t work, and the fire pit’s base had collapsed, so we chose not to use it. There were also several minor annoyances—none deal-breaking, but collectively noticeable: missing switch knobs, torn screens, a freezer drawer that caught when opening, cookware that hadn’t been properly cleaned, a Keurig that sprayed coffee, missing towel rack, a full outdoor trash bin upon arrival, and a gas grill heavily caked in grime.Despite these issues, the home met our needs, and we adapted to the quirks and enjoyed our week. A thorough sprucing up before next season would make a big difference.

Huge and comfortable house with some notable gaps. As others have mentioned, there are plenty of bedrooms but some can only be accessed through others with can be awkward. The kitchen lacks cookware sufficient for the number of bedrooms, there is little room to store food but there are a lot of plates! There is no lobster pot which is de rigueur for a house on the Cape. There are NO instructions on ANYTHING including how to light the stove or get a beach sticker and the information from Vacasa was wrong. That said, we had a great time and the location is lovely. Walkable to Wellfleet along the beach once you find the walkway at the end of Marven.

Lovely home with plenty of room for families.

This house suited our needs but did not fully deliver on its promised amenitites. A broken hot tub and dryer kept me tied to my phone longer than I would like and were not repaired during our visit. (This was not the fault of the handyman and hot tub repairman but of management for not taking action sooner when I contacted them upon arrival.)The layout of the house is confusing. The beds were uncomfortable for the middle aged and senior guests but the 18 yos slept great. It was clean and well appointed with dishes and linens and comfy couches. And the ACs worked great. Signage that the starters did not work and therefore both the stove and grill need to be lit manually would be helpful. Also signage in the house directing people to the third floor apt would be helpful.

We were celebrating a 50th anniversary with all the kids and grandkids and had an amazing time! Plenty of room in the house to space out and a big living room to gather together. Close to so many beautiful beaches just a short drive away! The house is very unique with lots of charm. You have to go through some of the bedrooms to get to other parts of the house or other bedrooms, but it worked great for us!

We were looking for a house with private sleeping spaces for our large group of 14, mostly couples, and this house fit the bill! The rooms are a bit odd and there are a few spaces where you have to walk through one bedroom to get to another - however, it fit our needs perfectly for our long weekend!! It’s a bit of a maze and takes some getting used to, but it’s a huge house and it is a LOT of fun. Lots of space to spread out, the beds were very comfortable, and the sauna and hot tub were awesome amenities. We couldn’t quite figure out the stereo in the house but not a problem there :) the house is well stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans, and supplies; and we were provided with ample towels for everyone. We were very comfortable here and the location was perfect and central to everything - right off route 6, but quiet and private. Plenty of parking, and plenty of restrooms for everyone! There was at one point someone servicing the hot tub while we were there (which we wished we had been notified about) but that was truly our only complaint. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend!!

We enjoyed staying at this home so close to Wellfleet center. The space, number of rooms, and allowance to bring your dog worked perfectly for us, but please be aware that a couple of rooms are interconnected, and lack some privacy as a result.

Overall, the location and house were great for multiple families with kids. The house was very clean! Sadly, the outdoor shower was not working, and despite multiple conversations with the rental agency, the local team was not responsive and never addressed the issue. A garbage can in the main floor kitchen would have been helpful, as well as a house manual.

Great property for a friends weekend away! A ton of space to spread out! Enjoyed all the amenities including the hot tub and sauna! The layout of the house was a bit out and took getting used to! But had a great stay!

Home layout was tough to get a grasp of in the beginning. Beds were all uncomfortable. No information as to starting livingroom fireplace, sauna steam not working and no directions how to use the heat/ac units. Home could have used a better cleaning, webs with dead bugs in them in corners of some of the rooms. We made due with what we had for our weekend but may look elsewhere next time we visit.

We had booked this house for a group of friends to stay at for the weekend. It required an extra night than we needed but we decided to pay for it anyways. When we arrived the hot tub wasn’t working and we were told someone would come take a look at it. They never showed but we were told they had ordered a part and the next available person to fix it can’t come until we are gone. After looking at another review we saw that the hot tub was broken two months before our stay. It was very frustrating to be lied to about the situation. Plus, we had to flip breakers in order to get hot water in the house. The company was very good at getting back to you but never provided accurate information. I would not recommend this house or this company to my friends or family.
