Love the pool, not too big/small and the house had everything a family could utilized. The master bedroom bed was not comfortable.

Great location and access to beach area. Good house. Just the proper amount of trash bags, TP, detergent, etc…. If you need more plan on a super market trip. Pool is beautiful. Grill is awesome

Marco Island is beautiful and we all had a great time. The house was like they said, definitely more spacious in person. The pool and grill hit the spot. No hot tub, its an overflow pool but it was warmer.

The structure and layout was beautiful, but the home was filthy. All the carpet was urine stained, the floors and baseboards were filthy so much so that we had to wear shoes to avoid having to wash our feet before going to bed. So many things didn't work: lights, beds, pool spa, pool lights, dock lights, garage door (no remote, key pad didn't work), table lights, on and on. There was even a sign not to open the big sliders to the pool because they didn't close well and he was tired of having to come over at 11 at night to close them for guests!! This was the first home we've rented where there were no staples... Not even salt and pepper. The boat lift (which was the primary reason for choosing this home) was covered in barnacles. The sheets and towels were NOT executive quality. The sheets were old and pilled, the towels, high quality for a Motel 6. Jim was very responsive to our concerns and removed the barnacles just before our boat arrived. He did buy 4 new towels (but not washcloths) ?, and a set of sheets for each bed. He also had the cleaning crew come back and mop the floors again (which helped a little.) The thing is that once you see something is not as advertised, you go looking for other issues. The mattresses were disgusting. There were beer cans, socks and lots of dust under the beds. The furniture was not as pictured and the couch was small and uncomfortable. It looks like the furniture and lamps have been acquired from flea markets and second hand shops. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I would never describe this as an executive home. It was once, but sadly the lack of attention and maintenance has made it very unattractive.

Owner was great to work with and accommodated an early check-in. Property is not as pictured. No shampoo, bath gel and conditioner.

There is a vey stringent city code regarding noise combined with a nasty neighborhood totally against guests. Exhibiting visible signs in their front garden protesting against “turning neighborhood a Motel”. Police act with no mercy, no warnings and issue $250 penalties at first sight.

Beautiful home on the water. Well appointed. Needs a little paint touch up on doors but other than that the house is in very good condition and I look forward to returning.

We had a great 5 night stay at the house. It’s in an amazing location and was perfect for our family group. I agree with some of the comments made by earlier guests that there some minor maintenance is required at the house. We did manage to pump up the bike tyres and use the old bikes in the garage which was a plus. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped - it could do with some decent sized mugs for coffee - we purchased our own whilst we were there. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the house

This is a very nice looking home in an upscale neighborhood however, the neighbors by the way, do not like that this home is a rental, and have signs in their yards opposing the rental. The owner of this home needs to spend some of his rental income on maintenance. When we arrived the refrigerator was frozen over and leaking water on the floor. We had to unplug it and let it sit overnight then take out all the water and use towels to soak up all the water in the refrigerator and on the kitchen floor. We should not have had to do this. It also needs a new filter. The dishwasher is broken. We tried several time to fill it with water but it just would not run. We washed dishes the old fashioned way. The shower in the master bathroom is broken. The shower head is missing and water runs down the wall.... impossible to take a shower. One of the sinks in the master bathroom had small ants around the sink basin. I asked the owner last spring when we made the deposit if we could use the boat lift and he said yes, however the boat lift bunks are broken ,the rug coverings are torn off and it's unusable. The pool deck was very dirty. It needs to be power washed. A large chunk of the pool screen is ripped and hanging down. The sliding glass doors to the pool and deck do not lock because the locks are broken. This makes this house unlockable and not totally safe. The hot tub and spa next to the pool does not work and the pool needs cleaning. There are several bicycles in the garage most all with flat tires. On a positive note... the house only had a small K-cup coffee maker. Too inconvenient for six adults. So I called the owner to ask if a regular coffee maker was in the house, one was not so he bought a new MR Coffee and delivered it the next morning. Lastly, the master bedroom's bed had small regular sheets on a king size bed. way too small. same with pillow covers. These issues are all fixable if the owner was paying attention to this property..... We will not rent this property again.

I will give an honest and objective review of this property to help others make an informed decision about this property. PROS:. • The neighborhood that the property is located within is absolutely stunning. • The owner of the property was very responsive and immediately corrected the issues when we contacted him • The view from the back terrace was beautiful overlooking the canal and the back of beautiful homes. CONS: • The back sliding gas door did not lock and we were not able to secure it, making us feel a bit unsafe when we were not home and especially at night while we were sleeping. • There were sugar ants all over the kitchen which prevented us from preparing meals in the kitchen or leaving food out on the counters even if we wrapped them like our chocolate chip cookies. We ended up having to prepare our meals on the bar counter so that the ants would not crawl in our food. • The pool was very cloudy when we arrived making the water appear dirty and unusable. The next day, the pool guy came over to clean the pool. Because of all of the chemicals that he had to put in the pool, we weren't able to use it until later that evening which meant we only got 1 1/2 days of using the pool during our stay. • All of the furniture in the house seems like a collection of furniture that the owner has gathered throughout the years and dropped in the house. Nothing wrong with that really ,but it's just not aesthetically pleasing and it doesn't feel like an organized home. One of the chairs in the family room was ripped in many places with large horizontal rips. • All of the doors in the house are painted black, but unfortunately the paint is peeling off of many of the doors and the white is showing through. That makes the doors look very old, ragged and worn down which again is not aesthetically pleasing • The amenities in the house were lacking. The coffee maker was broken so we couldn't have coffee. The bottom dishwasher rack was completely off the track so it was hard to get dishes in and out. We were only left with two garbage bags, there was no shampoo or conditioner, there were no beach towels, and the pool float was ripped to shreds. • The lift on the dock is completely unusable, the garage was filled with personal items and about 14 very old, rundown bikes. All in all , the house has the potential of being a beautiful home, but I think it would be nice if the owner would update the house, exterminate, &make the necessary repairs to it
