A few short blocks from your front door you can enjoy cross-country skiing, jogging or biking on the 42-mile Rio Grande Trail which was formerly a rail line.
This 4-bedroom 3-bath two story home features a spacious and cozy living room with a gas fireplace and Direct TV on a 50” television, a large fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and lounge area with a pool table. High speed internet ensures that you can post your amazing vacation photos in a timely manner.
The large master bedroom has a king-sized bed, and a private bath with a large glass walled steam shower, complete with a waterfall shower head. Thoughtfully planned for privacy, the master is separated from 2 of the guest bedrooms and bath which are on the other side of the lounge area. The fourth guest bedroom and adjacent bath are on the main floor. All three guest bedrooms have queen-sized beds, luxurious bedding, and beautiful views. There is enough space for everyone, while still spending quality time together playing pool, or lounging in front of the fireplace.
Located in Historic Basalt, guests can spend time exploring the lovely downtown, shopping in some amazing local stores and dining in some wonderful local restaurants. For a meal prepared at home, Whole Foods Market and City Market are only a 5-minute drive.
Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, you are surrounded by some of the most beautiful wild spaces in the world. Try your hand at flyfishing in the Gold Medal waters of the Fryingpan River!
Just 20 minutes from Aspen, guests can take advantage of the unmatched dining, shopping, skiing, hiking, rafting, music and events that have made Aspen famous. No need to battle the traffic, just park your car at the park-and-ride located just a minute from the house and hop on the award-winning RFTA bus that goes from Aspen to Glenwood Springs to Rifle. The public transportation is unmatched, and you can take your skis or bike with you, anywhere you want to go. If you have been dreaming of a mountain vacation, look for further.
Guest access to owner’s residence: Guests have access to the entire home, side patio and grill. This is the primary residence of the owner, who is pleased to share it with you and your guests while he is away. Please be aware that closets and drawers will have personal furnishings of the owner in them. If you need additional storage in the refrigerator or closet beyond what is provided, please request so we can accommodate you accordingly.
Other things to note: We ask that our guests leave their pets at home. Please note that this is a family home, a place for relaxing and spending quality time. With that in mind, we ask that you do not throw parties or invite extra guests into the home.
