Exceptional Modern Meets Cabin Home Near Ski Resorts, Harbor Springs & Petoskey

The host was very accommodating and helpful. We had issues which delayed our travel and and we had discussions with Ryan about extending our stay and he was very understanding and accommodating. The amenities were great and the kids especially enjoyed the gaming area in the basement.

House was perfect for three families to come together for a ski trip. We will be back!

Host was accommodating and great with communication. House had everything needed and stocked with plenty of towels and paper products. The downstairs arcade was a huge bonus.

The house was large with great views out the windows. The beds were a little too soft for my taste. We loved the finished basement with the huge tv and games.

The house was perfect for our annual family girls weekend. Very clean and true to the pictures.Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Check in/out was so easy. We didn’t use the garage but it was available which is nice in the winter I imagine.

Very spacious with nice wood furnishings, quality stove, deck, large dining table. Kitchen was well equipped. Great place! A few things to know—no food storage containers or foil/plastic wrap, so I was glad to have taken some ziplock bags. Window coverings aren’t light blocking, so it’s light early in summer. Some squeaky floors.

Perfect family get away. We had a family of 11 ranging from mid 70s to 12 years old and the house provided something for everyone. Relaxing and reading in the four season room or porch to ping pong, foseball, and arcades in the lower level. Perfect location to explore harbor springs and Petoskey but also an easy trip to see Macinac island, wilderness State Park, and Highlands Dark Sky Park. The home was exceptionally well equipped. It was agreed that this was a home we would all come back to.

Although this house is a little bit further away from the ski resorts, the amenities make it worth the extra 5 to 10 minute drive. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms all maintained in great condition. Large family room to gather in with a wood burning fireplace. Excellent basement entertainment. Will definitely be back many times more.

This is just a wonderful home...super close to Petosky, Harbor Springs and ski resorts. It works well for large groups, beds are comfortable, kitchen has it all, fireplace is nice and the 4 season glass porch is so nice for viewing the wooded lot. Hope to stay here again without question

This house is perfect! We had so much fun on the game room basement playing ping pong and the arcade games. Lots of space and amenities. House was super clean and more than we expected. I would most definitely stay here again. Continently located to both the Highlands and Nubs Knob.

It was a great experience for us we drove over 5 hrs to get here and it worth every second Beautiful house , it’s huge room for everyone we loved it Hope we can come back in the summer!!!

The house was spacious for 6 women celebrating birthdays. Great location for exploring Harbor Springs and Petosky. We had beautiful weather so enjoyed the patio. Lots of good restaurants nearby and we even had great pizza delivered from BC’s on night. Would recommend for anyone who doesn’t mind stairs.

Clean, spacious convenient location.

Wonderful cabin in the woods, just a 5 minute drive to Petosky State Park and a great Lake Michigan beach. Spacious gathering places, game room was a huge hit with the kids. My favorite was the screened in sun room off of the master bedroom- ideal for lounging and quiet reading! Craig was a very considerate host and property manager.

Property was clean, well equipped and met all our expectations. Game room in the basement was a bonus for the kids! Ideally located between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Craig was very responsive when we reached out to him. Highly recommend!

This house is special to our family as my grandparents owned it 20 years ago and we spent much of my childhood up there. While it has been renovated, it still is a wonderful house and brought back a lot of memories! The game room was awesome for the kids and adults too! Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey, we spent time in both and also enjoyed the close walking/bike path. The sunroom was also a favorite to enjoy in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back sometime soon!

This place has plenty of space for our extended family of 11, with areas for quiet as well as louder fun. The wrap around deck was perfect for some outdoor rock painting, the large dining room table fit everyone and was easy to clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Similarly, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and extra towels in the upstairs closet. The second-floor laundry was perfect for the needs of the younger kids' parents. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the woodlauft haus. It was perfect for our group of 13 including children. The house was very clean, had essentials for us to utilize during our stay. The house is very spacious and the arcade in the basement was a hit! We hope to come back! Great location with quick drives to the beach and nearby towns.
