Excellent Mountain Views and Short Walk to Downtown Asheville

Met all expectations and very accomdating host

2nd time staying at Ryan’s property (previously 2023). Communication with him is A1, his property notes ahead of booking are detailed and clearly stated. Location for Asheville is perfect - 10mins walk into town and 2mins from interstate, Blue Ridge Parkway etc for driving. Note: have to walk up/down a short but steep gradient, so if that’s an issue for you then just be aware. Absolutely covers what my buddy and I need - we hike, we visit breweries, we eat out. So only need a comfortable place to crash that is well-located. And this hits the spot. If we return to Asheville then we’ll be back, is that simple.

The location, vibe, layout and serenity was on point. Seeing the goats and turkeys were also a highlight. Would definitely recommend, and stay here again!

The host was extremely responsive and friendly. We met the owner to feed the goats, which was a Great experience! Our family had fun playing pool and the heating of the rental was superb. We can't find anything to complain about.

Better than advertised. The hosts are very accommodating. This is very well done basement unit. It is clear the homeowners did not cut any corners when building the space.

Our family stay in Asheville was for a visit to Biltmore Estate. The host Ryan was very nice and easy to communicate with. The view was excellent and the property was in a convenient location to the attractions we wanted to see. There are also alpine goats behind a fence but they will come up to be petted.

Great stay in nice home located close to Biltmore and downtown Ashville. Beautiful mountains views. The whole process was a breeze and the house was just perfect. Restaurants and grocery stores 5 mins away. Ryan was available for any questions. Everything was clean upon arrival and looked just like the vrbo listing photos! Thank you for sharing your place. We would stay here again for sure!

Ryan was a great host! The property was as described. Spotless, and very comfortable. The bathrooms were modern, great. Very close to downtown and the Biltmore. Highly recommend!

Host requested extra 100.00 for extra guests and there was none just me my wife and mother as I told host but I paid it so there was no confrontation in front of my mom I would never stay there again At 6 am much noise upstairs heavy walkers no descent sinks to wash in so for 4 nights we decided to eat all meals out big cost! You would have to b in early 20 s to walk anywhere BEWARE OF THISBPROPERTY NVER AGAIN

The house was very well appointed and the views were amazing

We could easily have cooked meals there, however, we spent most meals with our granddaughter who lives locally. Indeed there are excellent Mountain View’s. And walking with our dogs was filled with birdsong, goats clearing brush, healthy trees and wildflowers. The owner, Ryan, and his family were gracious and accommodating.

This place is ideal for for adults/couples! Bathrooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable! Easy drive or walk to/from downtown Asheville.

Enjoyed shopping downtown at Tops shoes, Mast General, and Anthropology. Loved how close we were to downtown. We love chasing waterfalls and saw 3 falls in the National Pisgah Forrest which is 20 miles away. Don't forget all the apple orchards in Hendersonville. We loved that we were centrally located to all that we wanted to do. The views of the mountains were fabulous and the sunsets were amazing. Very nice owner who is very accommodating.

The location was close to restaurants etc. but really not very walkable. The introduction book needs to be updated. Also needs to clarify in listing that this is basically a basement apartment with its own entrance.

Wonderful mountainview location and gracious accomodations. Near to town, Biltmore, yet pastoral setting including turkeys and goats!! (Notice description which makes clear there is not a full kitchen, etc.) Enjoyed!

This property made our trip so easy! It had every amenity we needed, plenty of space, VERY clean, and was so convenient to all Asheville attractions. The property manager/owner communicated everything clearly and quickly. The water cooler was a wonderful bonus. Would definitely recommend for parties of 1-4 (plus cribs if needed). Would stay here again.

Came for a conference on quantum healing. The place was about a mile from conference. On a hill with beautiful Mountain View’s. Place is very spacious clean, well stocked and host so welcoming. Highly recommend! Thank you Ryan.

It's a very spacious, comfortable place. Quiet and great for sleeping and relaxing. Yet, it's only a short 20 minute walk to downtown breweries and restaurants.

Great set-up for our family meet up in Asheville! We enjoyed the well-appointed, very clean comfortable apartment, the views and neighborhood. We dined in several of the restaurants that Ryan recommended - all great spots. Thanks for an awesome weekend!

This property is far enough away from downtown that it's quiet at night and gives the sense of being a little more in nature while still being close enough to walk easily to restaurants, shops, galleries, and live music via the pedestrian bridge behind the courthouse. The views are gorgeous, and we loved seeing wild turkeys and the goats on the property and hearing many songbirds in the mornings.The kitchenette is small, but it's perfectly set up for basic meal prep. The property is clean and comfy. The pool table gave our teen the chance to challenge his parents to billiards, and we enjoyed playing darts and the board games that were there in the games room. There are also white noise machines in both bedrooms in case it's not quiet enough (sometimes you can hear sirens from town). We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! I came to town with my 17 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter to view UNC Asheville. The property was the perfect location! Close to campus for the tour and everything else we wanted to do. Short drive to the Western North Carolina Nature Center, which we loved visiting! Perfect spot for our family trip. We hope to be back!

I was in Asheville with my daughter (17) son (15) for college tours for my daughter. This place was perfect! Everyone had their own space to relax. The bathrooms are stunning and the whole place is so cute and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. The game room was the best part. After long days of college tours and walking Asheville we could come back for a few games of pool and darts. We made great memories here. The place was extremely clean. It’s close to downtown and convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect for our needs. We just needed a good place to stay that was comfortable and located near our daughter, who lives in Asheville. The property was exactly as advertised. No issues on our end.

we came in for the Billy Strings benefit concerts and this basement apartment was awesome for that! great views, cute goats, close to downtown with out being in the hustle and bustle. great communication and hospitality by host! thanks for a great stay!

We were thrilled that the interior was exactly as shown. Very clean. Bathrooms have been recently updated obviously. The view is so awesome from the windows and patio. The owner was so pleasant and responsive to work with. I kept his number so we can stay again in the future. Location to restaurants was so close by as well. If you are visiting Asheville this is the place to stay!!!

Delightful property ideally located for Asheville city adventures. The owner is unbelievably helpful & has a beautiful well maintained property. Seniors or anyone having difficulty getting around need to be aware that accessing Asheville properties can be difficult due to the terrain which would apply to this location. Anyone wanting to be in the city & have easy access to all the city adventures would love this property. My sister & I loved the views, the location, the cleanliness, & the owners helpfulness/guidance. You can even enjoy a mountain hike if you are so inclined as the neighbors are out & about.

We were in Asheville for a medical procedure, and this quiet 2BR/2BA rental in the basement of the owner’s home was perfect. It was close to the hospital and it was easy to get to groceries, pharmacies, and other necessities. Even though the rental is right under their home, it feels quiet and restful. The views are amazing. And if you need anything, the owners help you out. They respond quickly to communications. We had to leave early due to Hurricane Helene’s approach, but I am sure when Asheville gets back up on its feet, this property will house visitors again. A perfect, restful place for a family to hang out after a medical procedure, but next time we visit, we will see the sights and enjoy the renewal of Asheville. We will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful place to stay and was close to downtown Asheville. We had everything we needed plus much more. Nice pool table area with a bar area. It was very comfortable and Ryan was very easy to communicate with. Would recommend to anyone.

Ryan was very friendly and was easy to work with if I had any questions or concerns. The place was great and we loved using the pool table. Amazing location, beautiful views and loved the walk into Asheville.

We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville! The place was clean, quiet, great layout, good beds and of course loved the pool table! While we gave an Overall rating of 4 stars, a 5-star Overall rating would be warranted. There are a few things of note that could be improved. One of the vanity drawers was inoperable/broken in one of the two very nice baths. We discovered after our first night stay that one of the bedroom windows was not locked and was ajar, which felt a little uncomfortable. We had to tighten the doorknob on the bathroom doors upon arrival, as it was very loose and rattling. One of the rain shower arms does not tighten, which makes the height and angle low when showering. With respect to Communication, our suggestion would be to provide a text number for questions rather than having to depend on Vrbo email, as email is inconvenient when traveling. We do want to point out that when we did request a text number for communication, Ryan was quick with providing that, which helped with timely responses between us. None of these items are deal breakers, and we would definitely recommend this location. This feedback is simply so the host can benefit from our experience and build on what is already a terrific space. Thanks for a peaceful, fun place for our Asheville visit!

We liked the location and easy access to the 'splendors' of Asheville. Access to the basement apartment was seriously sloped and gravelly and caused me serious knee pain. We were warned ahead of that possibility, and can only suggest that the owner, given the fairly high cost of this apartment makes the effort to improve the safe passage for elderly people. The apartment was comfortable but with tight and somewhat limited kitchen facilities, and zero dining table. Still we enjoyed our stay and were able to entertain a family wishing us well, plus having our Anniversary dinner in one of the many splendid restaurants of Asheville

A great place to stay while attending a wedding!

Staying at such a quaint town as Asheville ,we were surprised to have so much to do! One of our favorite things to do when the sunrise came was sit on the back patio and watch the wild life! We saw wild turkeys, a groundhog and lots of adorable hummingbirds.

This is a great property: so very convenient, in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, and with a beautiful, relaxing view. The host is top notch and very focused on you having an amazing stay and enjoyable experience. I will stay here every time!!

We were in a nearby area for a family vacation and decided to stay a few days to see Asheville. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and well furnished with nice views of the surrounding area. It is walkable to downtown but requires a long walk up a pretty steep hill. I would highly recommend this property.

The property is about 1 mile from most of the shopping, restaurants and attractions in downtown Asheville making it very convenient. The property was very clean and well appointed. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a large living space. We were a group of 4 college friends and found the space very comfortable. The location was quiet and we had no issues with the rental while we were there. We would definitely recommend.
