Excellent getaway. Lake front home with Stunning lake views, come make memories!

It’s a big, old charming house… but temper your expectations for the price you pay. The good: the inside is beautiful. We loved how much space there was for everyone (9 adults), especially in the big living room. The bad: The outside is neglected. There are broken tables and chairs, weeds taking over the dock area, and seemingly no care for the guests to have a place to sit and gather. We also arrived to dog poop on the front porch and broken amenities (fire pit and paddle boards). The plugs are gone on the paddle boards, so they fill with water and start sinking. It’s a shame they don’t put effort into the exterior. We also had to call at 4pm for our check-in instructions.We reached out to the property manager after our stay to keep this feedback private. They did not respond.

Great house and plenty of good space for a large group. Very private property and had an excellent time enjoying the views and the water.If you are getting in the lake I would suggest some water shoes, there were some sharp rocks.Overall, very happy with our stay!

Our group of 12 loved the house. Great location right on the lake and big spaces we all could gather. Great communication from our host and the whole family would highly recommend the house. Only item others mentioned is no curtains in most rooms but an eye mask allowed a later sleep. Come visit Delavan!

The property and home are lovely. We had an AC issue, and the property manager had someone out right away. The large dining room table is great for meals. My only 'wish' was that the bushes are so overgrown that you can't see the lake from the deck. The grass needed mowing and weedwacking as well.We enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks that were at the home. We would consider returning here for sure.

We had a wonderful time here. The house is very big and worked perfectly for our group golf trip. Host is great! Propane ran out for the grill and she brought a new tank over very quickly which was above and beyond!

The home and location were as described….arrival check in was great….every amenity imaginable was available in the home.The views of the lake were terrific ….only item lacking was blinds on the bedroom windows…master had them others were shears or nothing….so we rose early with the sunrise!We would book this house again if we are looking in the area….thank you to the host

Our family group (7 adults, 5 kids, 2 dogs) stayed for three nights at this beautiful lakefront home and wish we'd booked for longer. There was plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed was provided. Bedrooms are all upstairs, but the stairs are not bad. The side bedroom felt like we were living in a luxury treehouse with a gorgeous lake view! Yareny, the property manager, responded to anything we needed quickly and graciously. So many really cool things about this place. Here's a few: the provided kayaks and paddle boards and life vests, the comfortable deck with fire pit, bright enclosed porch, lots of seating in living room and dining room, fireplace, so many windows, lots of fun stuff like a record player and eclectic vinyl collection, cheery kitchen with everything you need including a few bottles of wine : ) One thing - the rocks in the water by the pier are a bit sharp and hard to walk on, so bring some water shoes if you're planning to walk in the water there. Everyone wants to go back!

We had 7 adults and 2 toddlers here for an extended weekend and had a great time. Plenty of sleeping space, bathrooms, and common space. It was fully outfitted - sheets, towels, pillows, kitchen accessories, lake toys, etc. Plenty of outdoor space to let kids roam. It was extremely clean inside and out. Only reason for 4/5 stars is that the back patio and the dock/dock area need improvements and repairs. Kitchen is a bit smaller than the pictures make it look. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

This historic home was the perfect location on the lake for our family reunion, with plenty of space both inside and out. The large yard and pier were perfect for hanging out and lake-front fun.

This is an 1856 house so expect what comes with an older home. We had issues with plumbing not resolved during our stay. Bedroom layout a bit unusual. Kitchen well appointed.

Poorly maintained, not clean, VRBO pictures not showing current condition Gas grill not cleaned this season, excessive grease build caused a grease fire first evening which destroyed dinner for 10. Following day owner had grill cleaned Kitchen gas range igniters not working. Note said open windows when cooking since vent fan not working and use hand held butane lighter to light burners. Of the five bathrooms, 4 in working condition. None of the floors in any bathroom had been cleaned recently. Sofa in main living held up by a stack of books. Deck facing lake had large overgrown bushes which prevented some of the seating from being used. Dock missing section - Rotted out pieces laid over missing section, which created an unsafe access to the end of the dock for the seniors and the 6- and 8-year-old children. We are very disappointed that VRBO allowed several years old pictures to be posted which did not show the current condition of this property. We are unlikely to use VRBO in the future as we cannot count on the accuracy of the pictures to show actually condition.

We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house despite some summer storms. The host was very responsive and helpful during our stay and we really enjoyed the property - very comfortable for our family of 9. Highly recommended.

This was the second year our family has rented the property and we hope to be back next year. The large dining room allows everyone to sit down together for nice dinnners.
