Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of high school girlfriends and spouses have been meeting annually at a different location every fall for the past 16 years.This year we chose “Ever After” as our reunion site and it did not disappoint. The home was very comfortable for our group of 11. Please note that all rooms do not have private baths and some rooms share bathrooms. There are a lot of activities in the area around Deep Creek Lake with several state parks and historical sites close by as well as grocery stores and shopping. In spite of some rainy weather remnants from hurricane Florence during the week, we had plenty to do and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There needs to be a TV in the carriage house in the room where the futons are for anyone sleeping there, the correct TV I’d in the next room

Reviewer Comments: Taylor Made tried the best to make it a good experience, but please tell the owners we will never come back because of the condition of the place-- dirty carpets, outside deck covered in spider webs, not swept at all-- easy stuff to handle-- but for the price, we had to clean the floor with a mop-- and they came up very dirty. Also-- the dishwasher stopped working day 3-- with 3 grandkids, 11 total-- this was never fixed, although you tried-- I think the owner just wanted to go as cheap as possible-- whatever-- we made the best of it, but will never be back. I know you tried, but it takes the owner recognizing that investing a little bit of money will actually make more-- I have a number of rentals and always works that way.

We rented a pontoon boat, so the parents and grandparents could pull their children/grandchildren on a tube around the lake, went white water rafting, and hiking around Swallow Falls. It was beautiful and relaxing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was a trail from our property to the dock, but our actual dock space was 2 houses over. Would have never realized that from the maps we viewed ahead of time. The house had a strange smell from arrival for duration of the trip. with the huge table and benches, I think it needed a good scrubbing. When we arrived the kitchen counters and table had not been wiped. The oven did not heat correctly, the dishwasher did not release the soap, it took us a few days to figure out to just add it to the main compartment, the fridge doors in the kitchen had broken shelves which took away from out main storage fridge. The decks and outside area needed a good hosing. The carriage house was listed with a tv room, but that room was empty with no furniture or tv. The theater room was however there. I would say it was a nice house but could use some new appliances and a thorough cleaning and a powerwash outside.

We had to walk in front of neighbors to our right, down a slope, to get to out dock! Very misleading! My sweet 84 year old Mom who paid for the house would only go down once a day! The movie house was super fun! Great bedrooms! Awesome outside table for 16!

What can I say about the Carriage House except for BRAVO!!! My guest and I loved it and will recommend it as well as return for other stays.
