Stayed Jun 28, 2025The home was amazing. Everything you need, plus more, was there. I really appreciated and enjoyed the local Biltmore wine that was given as a gift. Very thoughtful. Wonderful views and close to everything.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Newer home with all the amenities. Appreciate the host's effort to provide for any activity imaginable. There was room for the entire family with awesome accommodations for the kids. Thoroughly enjoyed waking up to breathtaking views of the hills and watching the sunsets from one of the three decks. Close to town, hiking trails, and Beaver Dam Lake. Driveway is a bit intimidating at first but you get the hang of it quickly. We would stay there again, the peaceful tranquility was intoxicating.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025The house is new, spacious, and very clean. We greatly enjoyed playing shuffleboard and the arcade games in the basement. It was not hard to get an Uber into Asheville and was probably a ~15 minute ride.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Perfect in every way. Everything perfectly clean. Nice tvs. Beautiful porches, one fully screened. Actually could use some new pots and pans but not a big deal. Kitchen area was beautiful and made it fun to cook. There is an outdoor gas grill but we never used it. Nice game room downstairs. Driveway is steep and you must back down it, but I did it without issue using my rear view backup camera. Nice garage to park in. We loved it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great access to both downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway (10-15 min to each). House is comfortable, in a quiet spot, and has great views. Kitchen was well stocked and had many of the non-perishables we needed. Awesome for an extended weekend stay!

Stayed Apr 11, 2024My husband & I booked the house for a relaxing long weekend. The owner was very responsive & a great communicator throughout our stay. We were driving up from Louisiana & had very bad weather coming so we had to adjust our trip to leave much earlier which put us in Asheville in the wee hours of the morning. The owner was gracious enough to accommodate our early check-in request. The house is nestled in the side of a mountain in a beautiful wooded residential area which is literally just 10 minutes from town. Everything we needed was right there & very accessible. This property is even better in person! It was extremely clean and very well stocked. Very tastefully decorated & really comfy...we felt right at home. The beds and linens were amazingly comfortable too. Between the top deck with the fire pit, the adjacent cozy screened-in patio & the bottom deck with the hot tub we had a wonderful time! The view is absolutely breathtaking and we even saw a black bear which was really cool! It's super quiet & peaceful if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. Most of the reviews mention the steep driveway. While this is certainly accurate, we just took our time and had no problem with the driveway at all. We've used VRBO over the years and I will say that I always research before booking and I'm pretty picky. This property FAR exceeded our expectations and we can't recommend it enough!! We will definitely be booking it again...Thanks again for everything Suzanne!

Stayed Nov 19, 2023This is an absolutely perfect vacation home. The house has everything needed for a great time. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, gas fireplace and hot tub (we were there in November. Great view and close to town. The driveway is STEEP; but the VRBO review was accurate in describing it. We are definitely looking at coming back.

Stayed Aug 16, 2023My friends and I celebrated our birthdays with a long weekend trip in Asheville. The house is perfect and the views are AMAZING! Everything we did (downtown, Biltmore, hiking, breweries, RAD) was a short drive or Uber away. The driveway is very steep, so consider this for winter/icy months. I look forward to returning with my husband & kids.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969If this house could be an emoji, it would be a unicorn, just like the hosts, and who doesn't love a unicorn? This house was 20 mins from the airport and just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville where you can enjoy the city's unique funkiness. The photos of the views don't do the house justice; sitting on the porch watching the sunset & sunrise will make you feel more connected to a higher purpose. This place has everything you need for a weekend getaway, family vacation, or in my case, a business trip - where high-speed internet is an absolute must! The hosts go out of their way to ensure you feel at home. The communication and attention to detail were nothing short of 5-star service. This place is a hidden secret in the mountains, and if you are fortunate to stay here, you won't be disappointed—absolutely a five-star experience!

Stayed Mar 26, 2023We loved this home for our Spring Break. It was close to a lot of things, but we felt a lot of privacy at the property. The house is in great condition and the towels and linens seemed brand new. Our teenagers loved the arcade games and we loved the peace out in the sunroom and porches.
