Stayed Apr 12, 2019This was a great location to stay. Lovely home and a great space for extended family. Be aware of the operating days for the recycling and rubbish, as it was closed on our check out day so we had an hour round trip plus ferry to take this to the nearest open recycling and rubbish location before our check out. We recommend you check the local stations opening times so you don’t get caught out. A great stay all up. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful view from top floor and great walking distance to town. Would recommend for a family getaway. The neighbour was also super nice, and locals were awesome, so friendly and relaxed.

Stayed Mar 6, 2019Escape North is perfect for a large group of friends or for extended family gatherings. It's located just a stone's throw from the centre of Russell and so handy to cafes and to the ferry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house felt like a home away from home. Clean, comfortable and very spacious with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Barry and Lesley were very easy to deal with and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely recommend Escape North to family and friends wanting a lovely place to stay in Russell. In fact, we already have! Tracey and friends

Stayed Dec 10, 2018Very well presented house with plenty of room to chill out in the living areas. Set into one of the best locations in Russell - 2 minutes walk from the main shopping area, just down the drive for a swim, and lots of places to walk if the mood is right. Would be perfect if the freezer was accessible, but we loved it none the less!
