Stayed Jul 17, 2025Do not rent this property. After seeing bad reviews, I called the rental management company ahead of booking and they assured me that the house was in great shape. It was absolutely filthy. Not only was there a layer of dust and cobwebs, and general grime on every surface, The furniture and carpets were disgusting, and possibly worst of all was the pungent stale musty pet odor that permitted from every bit of carpeting and furniture. We tried opening up the windows and doors, but as the sunlight came in and warmed up the house, the smell only intensified. I honestly think it would have been detrimental to our health the breathe the air much less sleep and eat here. We did not stay even one night the rental company, to their credit, was able to find us another house. It was not in the keys, and there were some disappointments in not being able to stay in the keys, but this house on Venice is absolutely not fit for rental. Don’t do it!

Stayed Aug 2, 2020Disgustingly dirtyEverything broken all the cabinets are broken doesn’t justify the pictures in the web the Shell is just filthy infested with spiders spiderwebs and I got so many spider bites and I got infection it’s just disgusting

Stayed Jun 4, 2020Great location in the keys! Quiet neighbors. Great for families/kids. Master bedroom upstairs, two bedrooms with queen beds, one bunk bed room and the last room is just a TV room with couch. Open floor plan upstairs. Bummer that there is no table with chairs to enjoy food/drinks. House does not have the basics (foil, zip lock bags, etc) but it's not the end of the world. The pick up key location is about 2 min away which isn't bad at all. All in all, it was a great weekend/stay and will more than likely book again.

Stayed Jul 9, 2019Was disappointed overall. The listing showed nice pictures, but the house was much smaller than expected. The house needs maintenance due to broken fences, screen doors, cabinets, and missing lights. Would not stay here again for the price they asked.
