What an excellent place to stay for Yosemite experience!We were traveling to experience Yosemite in winter and perhaps catch Firefall. The park received massive snow just prior to our arrival, and Bill was constantly in contact, letting us know real-time park conditions, which roads to take in light of closures, as well as the conditions within the Yosemite West community. It was beyond comforting to know that he lived on the premises and could keep us updated with developments. The unit itself is great also, very comfortably appointed. We had everything we needed. We had an amazing time and would gladly rent here again. Thanks so much for making it an enjoyable stay!

The place was in a very quiet and peaceful area surrounded by trees and amazing views. The host was responsive and friendly. Everything was clean, well laid out, and beds were comfortable. My favorite part was the photos on the walls and the collection of mountaineering and climbing books! We used most of the items in the kitchen and it was very well stocked. We will certainly be back to enjoy Yosemite and this is a good basecamp in the winter.

It's easy to get caught up while searching for property the newly renovated and modern styles but this jem proves that it is unnecessary. We arrived late and walked into a warm.and inviting residence, the house was clean and well furnished. As a family our biggest frustration is not enough plates bowls and cutlery which there was ample. The view was beautiful in the morning with floor to ceilig windows allowing the winter sun to come in during the day. It's location was also perfect in Yosemite West, around 35 minutes to the Valley.

The host was welcoming. He lives next door, so I ran into him on the property. He's very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, as he is a longtime resident of the area. The property was clean, roomy, and in good repair. We lacked for nothing. A very impressive selection of DVDs was available. Overall, a great stay!

Nature at it's best, Access to Yosemite, Bill shared information about 2 hikes we had not done in our many visits to Yosemite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First time in Yosemite area. If not staying in valley hotels, this location is great. Close to Glacier Point and the valley. The property is well stocked with all the essentials. Bill was wonderful to work with had fast answers to all questions. We were in Yosemite so we were there just to sleep and eat and this place fit our needs.

Property was great location, needs a few upgrades, ie. screen door replacement, shower curtain had mold or dirty bottom, windows need cleaned and ceiling fans need cleaned.

Well stocked, clean, as advertised. A few small maintenance issues and lack of cell service prevented communication

We did a long weekend trip in Yosemite and loved our stay here! We appreciated the kitchen that was fully stocked with utensils, dishes, salt and pepper, cleaning supplies. We liked how there were sufficient towels, toilet paper. The place was also really clean! There’s no AC but with the windows open, fans on and he had an extra fan as well it was totally fine. There were also just helpful small amenities like flash lights, ice and tupper ware that made a big difference since the closest store is not close.It was a 30 minute drive to the Yosemite welcome center. We liked the small patio outside we had dinner out there. Bill is truly a great host!Overall great experience - would come back.

The location is perfect. Given the vast size of Yosemite not having to leave the park was helpful. The neighborhood is nice to be able to walk in.

The location of the property was amazing. As first timers in Yosemite, it was so awesome to be staying inside the park, yet still have all the amenities of home. If staying/traveling with non-campers, this made it such a great visit!The house is very clean, plenty spacious, and is equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the AWESOME dvd collection, which was perfect for decompressing with family after a long day in the park. The house was great, the host was tremendous, the location was perfect and overall made this one of the best national park visits we've had yet!

Quiet home inside of Yosemite with comfortable beds and loads of classic movies to put on after a day hiking in the park.

This was an incredibly well stocked VRBO. Since we were inside Yosemite National Park where there is very limited places to stock up, it was an added bonus. Lots of paper goods, detergents, even coffee filters!They had lots of plates, cutlery, good knife set, coffee cups and glassware. We were 4 adults, and there was 8 of everything. What a treat.Check out was minimal, just having to load and start the dishwasher.Would definitely recommend.

Great Location! Good setup for two couples.

If you want to spend your vacation in Yosemit NP you need to look here. We passed thru park gates, showed our reservation confirmation, and never left the park the week we were there. i was worried about the early heatwave and no AC, but the house stayed cook with ceiling fans and opened windows at night. It was the perfect vacation.

My wife and I spent two nights in this large home, which is reasonably well equipped. There is no AC, but it was not needed, at least not in late May.Our primary reason for staying in Yosemite West was for the quick access to Glacier Point Road, which begins just 10 minutes away by car. Definitely lets you get a jump on the crowds there. And the Valley is relatively close, too (about 35 minutes with no traffic), if you want to base yourself in Yosemite West.

Loved the Yosemite West location, the view at the end of the road, and a comfortable house. While not flashy, it is quite comfortable. The host, Bill, was great and even went above and beyond to help me with a little request. Thanks, Bill! As with all VRBOs, if there is something missing from the kitchen, just ask!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as described. It was super convenient being inside the park.

Due to a family emergency we were going to have to cancel our two weeks that we booked with Bill and lose our payment. However, we reached out to Bill and asked if he would be open to us rebooking for two weeks at a later date and he was very agreeable. This was very generous of him.This location was perfect for all our hiking and snowshoeing expeditions. Accommodations were comfortable and we would recommend others to stay here.

My daughter had a great 20th birthday in Yosemite. The host is friendly, the place is awesome! You have everything you need. We will definitely be staying here in the future!

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay! It is a beautiful location and Bill has thought of everything to make your stay a special one. The kitchen is very well stocked. There is plenty of room for families to stretch out. The beds are very comfortable. Great communication! I’m very picky when it comes to the properties I stay in, and this place met ALL my family’s needs. I can’t wait to return!

My family and I had a blast! This place was spacious and clean and the perfect location being a short drive down to the valley. My girls (12, 12, and 5 years old) enjoyed the area around the cabin exploring and building snowmen. The owner was super friendly and communicative. Highly recommend! I hope to come back again!

Kitchen has evening you need with pretty views

Close to Glacier point Road inside Yosemite National Park. Quick access to Yosemite Valley compared to outside the park accommodations. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We prepared most meals at the house.

Great location for going to the Valley, Glacier Point, and Wawona. While house is just outside the park, we did not have to go through an entrance station every day. Quiet and clean. Owner is friendly, communicative and available.

Great location and extremely clean

Very nice place inside the park. Owner thought of about every thing we may need, including flour for our sausage gravy, motion lights for going to restroom at night ,Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Comfortable livingroom furniture . Couch was used to sleep on by my nephew, no complaints. Yosemite is great, if prone to car sickness need to ride up front. Enjoy!windeDo take note

Great stay for our family. Close to the big attractions in the park.

Bill was quick to answer questions prior to stay and during the stay. The power company was doing a rolling power outage and Bill came over to check on us and let us know about supplies in the condo we might need due to the outage. It only lasted a few hours though. The condo was laid out well for a family of 5 and the main area seemed larger than the pictures appeared in the listing. Beds slept well and the condo was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. It was the last week of July, so without air conditioning it was warm in the condo, but we were not there much, too many things to explore. Would recommend this condo and would stay here again.

This is a great location for seeing Yosemite NP. It's inside the gates, so no waiting in line at the entrances. The house had plenty of room and was reasonably clean. The master bed was a bit funky and made the occupants roll toward the center, but

My family and I stayed one night before heading out for a backpacking trip. Pros: beautiful property and amazing locations. Owner communicated everything we needed to know about entering the park to access the property. Easy check in. So many movies, it was great. Cons: the couch and lazy boy seemed pretty dirty but were very comfortable. Smelled a little mildewy inside but not too bad. No coffee to start the day (I’m used to properties having at least one day of coffee but this is obviously not a requirement). There were no throw or extra blankets that I could find. Overall a nice place.

Nice quiet location, property owner nearby and helpful for any needs. About a 30min drive to the valley, nice and close to glacier point road and great hikes along it.
