Amenities and house location was good. House was kept in good condition and all amenities were there to make our stay comfortable and good.

Had a wonderful time in the house. It was clean, inviting and well maintained. Beautiful view and I’m a great location. Looking forward to booking it again for future trips.

Lovely home with great amenities. Short drive into Galena, with so many great shops. Best Old Fashioneds ever at The Great Escape. Hot tub very clean and just the right temperature. Clear instructions from the host. Highly recommend for a relaxing get-away.

This property was beautiful. The house is in an excellent area as its quiet and you can enjoy the scenery and nature, but you are not completely isolated. We drove into Galena every day and had a blast in the city, and our kids loved swimming at the resort and golfing. The rooms were very comfortable and we all had our separate area. I would love to come back here this winter

The house itself was very cute! We all appreciated that it wasn't cheap furniture and decor that was in this place. We had an issue with the plumbing but was quickly resolved :)Everything seemed very well taken care of. All of us kept talking about how nice the house it and how much fun it was to be there. It was wonderful that there was firewood already at the property and they even had bug spray!

Comfy birthday weekend getaway in the Galena Territory! We enjoyed the views and the daily turkey visits. No complaints whatsoever and look forward to potentially staying at this location again in the future.

We had a great time at this beautiful property! The location was great, sunrise over the hill was gorgeous, and everything you could want is there in the rental. Quick to get into Galena but peaceful in the mornings and at night. The hot tub was wonderful and a great way to relax and catch up with some very dear friends. The gas fireplace was perfect for late winter/early spring. Communication with the host was quick and responsive. We loved our time spent here and made memories that will last a lifetime!

My family had a wonderful time over the Christmas season. Relaxing in the Beauty of the environment and enjoying one another. Nights in the hot tub days tour in Galena. We had a great time.

Rented this for a girls weekend for my birthday and loved it! We enjoyed the hot tub and cozy cabin feel while also being very close to downtown Galena. Plan to come back in the summer.

Like a Disney themed property for adults! This country western, cowboy themed property was excellent! We really appreciated that there was toilet paper, trash bags, and hand soap which many rentals now days are lacking. Very clean! Very easy access and check out! Hot tub worked great.4 seasons room and large deck are an added bonus. Would totally stay there again..... thank you!

We rented the house for girls weekend. This house is immaculate and has beautiful views. It is really well maintained and had no issues while staying here. Many amenities included, bathrooms even had curling iron, blow dryer and flat iron. The only thing you really need to bring is tooth brush and cloths. I highly recommend this house as a place to stay in the galena territory,

Our family enjoyed a wonderful three night stay on this beautiful property. The hot tub was fabulous, bedrooms cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We also made use of the owners club pool which the grandkids loved. We would surely stay here again!

I booked a getaway for a few friends and I to get break from the city. The place was super cute. Easy to get in. Fully stocked kitchen and very clean. Had a beautiful view of the hills. The hot tub was nice to sit in and see star gaze. The fire pit took a little bit to get going but was nice at night to keep the bugs away. About 20 minutes from down town Galena, which was perfect. The place was great. If we decide to do a trip again. I would definitely see if this place is available again.
