This is a great house. We came to New Jersey to see family for the holidays. It was nice to be able to walk to beach and just across the bride to several restaurants. I can only image what this would be like in the summer. We have stayed in several VBRO/Airbnb and never had one this well stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Neighborhood is quite and felt very safe.
Lovely, comfortable, immaculate home, close to everything. Owners are gracious. Will rent again!
The “pineapple house” is so homey and comfortable with many amenities to add to convenience. The owners are very attentive and clearly want renters to enjoy their visit. It is beautifully decorated in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. Thoughtfully supplied with all things for home and the linen supply was outstanding! My family really enjoyed.
We really loved this house and the location. All was excellent; a nice kitchen, good beds, and a garden with shade in a quiet street, close to both Ashbury Park and the beach of Ocean's Grove
We had a wonderful time at Pineapple Walk. The house was beautiful and the location perfect. We hope it's available next summer. Many thanks to David and David.
My husband and two daughters (9-14) spent the week here and really enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, downtown Ocean Grove and Asbury Park. We didn't do a lot of cooking as we were close to plenty of awesome restaurants that we wanted to try. The rooms do get hot after a day away, but the air conditioner quickly cools the house down. Both my daughters loved the house, too. The owners were very responsive to all of our minor questions. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Hope to be back next year.
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful house from 7/14/18 - 7/24/18. The listing description was spot on in laying out the location and other particulars of the house. The owner(s) were readily available via text or phone, and they provided a lot of great advice on the area. The house was immaculate and well maintained. The king bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, as were the beds in the second room We had two of my wife's sisters stay with us for part of the week, so that second room was well-used. There were plenty of linens and towels. We used the washer/dryer , and it was fine. The owners provided soap and dryer sheets as well. All of us were very impressed with the house, and we would gladly recommend it to friends and/or relatives in the future. The owner has a notebook that lays out everything you would need to get started on your stay...WiFi info, garbage/recycle schedule, places to visit and eat in both Ocean Grove and Asbury Park, as well as Bradley Beach. Being Ocean Grove in the summer, parking (free) is not always easy, primarily on weekends. During the week we had NO problem parking. Even on the weekend we were able to find a spot within a 2-block radius. We greatly enjoyed the beach (of course), had great meals at a new casual spot called Serendipity on Main St, the Osteria Procacini also on Main. Ice cream at both Nagles and Days were excellent as always. We had amazing Caesar salad at the Bonney Read in Asbury Park, with grilled shrimp added. For breakfast, anyone eating in the area should try the Buttered Biscuit in Bradley Beach, and Del Ponte's bakery and coal-fired pizza a block away. All in all, we had a great week in Ocean Grove, and we would stay at this house again in a heart beat!
